Snooki & Sasha FarberOMG! Dancing With the Stars season 17 just keeps getting better and better every week. I gotta say, this is some of the stiffest competition the show has ever seen.

The pros definitely seemed to kick things up a notch this week and pushed their partners to the limit. While Brant Daugherty, Leah Remini, Elizabeth Berkley, and Christina Milian were very impressive this evening, by far the best dance of the night for me was Snooki and Sasha's quick step.

Damn. Can you believe that one-handed cartwheel? Snooki is a ballsy girl, but that was a risky move even for her -- and she totally nailed it.

More From Our Partners: Check Out Snooki's One-Handed Cartwheel!

When this show started, did you really think she'd take the competition so seriously? It's like she's a completely different person than the feisty meatball we all knew and loved on Jersey Shore -- but that's definitely a good thing. She's smart. And sassy. And sexy. And as the weeks go on, Snooki is also proving herself to be an awesome dancer. (Who knew?!?)

But despite all of the amazing performances so far, someone had to go home tonight, and it's not shocking at all that this was the end of the road for Bill Nye. Sure, he's adorable. But he's a "Science Guy," not a ballroom dancer.

What was your favorite dance tonight, and are you surprised that Bill went home?

Sex Confession: Wife Allowed Husband to Be With Another Woman

set him free quote"Sex Confessions" is a series featuring your naughtiest bedroom secrets and fantasies. Some will sound familiar, others may give you ideas, some will turn you on, and some are dark and twisted. You might want to sit down for this.

Paul* and Anna* have been married for seven years. They have a son who is 3 and seemingly have a happy marriage with no issues. And they are happy -- very happy Anna insists, but a little incident last year has made Anna concerned now. She allowed her husband to sleep with another woman. And he did. Just once. And they hadn't talked about it much until recently. I'll let Anna explain.

Paul and I have had those talks that so many couples do about who our free pass would be. Mine is Charlie Hunnam and we've joked about it when we watch Sons of Anarchy. (I can't wait for Fifty Shades of Grey movie!) Paul's free pass was Jennifer Lopez until one day when we were playfully discussing these celebrity crushes that we clearly never would have a chance with and he said he would add Jessica* to the list. Jessica is our friend. More his friend than mine, but I like her very much. She and Paul used to work together and we'd go out with her and her husband quite often before we had kids. Jessica ended up getting a new job and divorced, and moved about an hour away though Paul still kept in touch with her here and there.

For some reason I told him I would allow him to have a free pass with Jessica. I really thought I wasn't truly agreeing to anything. I never thought it would happen. And I wasn't even jealous when he told me she would be his free pass because I think it's healthy to be attracted to other people and playfully think about it. He was telling me about it so I just thought it was just that -- him telling me he had the hots for his friend Jessica.

This was last year. And a few weeks after that conversation, he told me he spoke to Jessica and she was into it. He wanted me to honor that free pass. So I did. And I regret it.

Maybe I didn't think it would really happen. Maybe I was shocked that he actually asked her if she wanted to have sex with him. But it happened. Just once. And I can't help but feel totally insecure in my relationship now even though I said it was okay. We never discussed it in those early days after it happened. But in the last few months I've wanted to know more. He says it wasn't that great. That he thought about me. That they don't really talk anymore as friends. But I'm not sure how to deal with it all.

What do you think Anna should do? Would you ever allow your husband to be with another woman?

*Names have been changed.

Woman Dumped by Text Uses Her Blog to Publicly Destroy Him -- Yikes!

The world is your oyster when you're young, not so much in love, pissed off, and when you just happen to be a blogger who can shame the pants off the one who scorned you. A 26-year-old woman did exactly that on her blog, Little Black Blog. A man she calls "Rando," whom she dated twice, foolishly decided to call it quits via a text message. Quin Woodward Pu says she was "stunned into paralysis" after receiving the text and even had to leave her opera rehearsals early because she was "agitated" by the young man's horrible etiquette.

So she did something that is within the power of every young woman with a social media platform these days and set out to make this man's life a living hell. Vive L'Amour!

Quin begins with the backstory of their "love affair," revealing she encountered the incredibly drunk Rando at a bar. When they met for dinner and drinks, she says there was chemistry but that she wasn't shocked because she has "chemistry with pretty much everyone." Okay. The next thing we know is that they shared one more dinner the following weekend, which made Quin feel pretty confident she could invite Rando to her birthday party. Old Rando couldn't make it, but thought it was a sufficient exchange to treat Quin to a weekend trip to Wine Country. Which just screams odd, but I guess seems exciting when you're 26.

Quin then received this amazing text from Rando:

Listen I had fun on Sat but quite honestly I am in a state of flux right now and am really not looking for a relationship. Sorry to be a downer before your birthday but I have no doubt you'll move on quickly as you are a funny, smart, cool girl! Good luck.

Oh lord, Rando. I know these two only dated twice, but if you're going to invite a girl on a weekend wine trip, I think you owe her a phone call. You probably owe her a call no matter what  -- just to be decent. Or do what we did back in ancient times and just never call the person back. Anything is better than a text with exclamation points.

Well, don't cry for Quin. Her blog rebuttal came fast and furious. She revealed that Rando used his agency's BlackBerry to sext her and that she was planning on forwarding screenshots of his sext messages to his boss. All those in favor of returning to rotary phones, say "aye!"

What would you do if you were broken up with via text message?

Cancer-Stricken Woman Leaves Husband After He Refuses to Help Her

Marriage is supposed to be for better or worse. But, unfortunately, some spouses take that to mean their worse -- not yours! Yeah, they’re all, "Hey, marriage is all about in sickness and in health -- can you go to the drugstore for me?” but when the sniffles are turned, they run for the nearest exit. Or they don’t move at all. Or they say, "While you’re at the drugstore getting Sudafed, could you pick me up some ginger ale?" One woman’s husband brought this to the most callous extreme when his wife of 15 years was diagnosed with breast cancer -- and he refused to help at all.

Beth Gainer says:

I went through chemo and radiation alone and I did everything. I took care of myself alone and I had to work one full-time job and one part-time job.

Never mind that Beth had been supporting her husband emotionally and financially for years because of his mental health issues, when it came to her physical ones, he just completely checked out.

It’s definitely not the first time I’ve heard of this kind of thing -- and I’ve experienced a little bit of it myself too. Guys who are all about you bringing the chicken soup, giving them the backrub, and running to the pharmacy for them will tell you you’re "overreacting" or a "drama queen" when you’re sick or just refuse to help at all.

I had one friend who was married to a man for several years who just flat-out refused to set foot in a hospital or doctor's office, which meant she had to undergo every single medical procedure by herself. Oh, and then he didn’t want to even talk about anything either. Never mind that he had his own medical problems and she would faithfully accompany him when he needed it.

I think "in sickness" is one of the most important part of a couple’s marital vows. Sure, there are people who decided to leave a relationship after a catastrophic accident that leaves one person paralyzed or completely helpless -- and that is something I’m not going to judge.

But with any relationship -- whether it's short- or long-term -- there’s a pretty good chance one party will have, at least, a few colds. Maybe the flu. Possibly an iffy pap smear. Or a lump in the breast. Or something. A guy (or a woman) who refuses to help or acknowledge when you're sick is definitely going to be a difficult person to be with as you grow older. Either learn to accept it or get out.

As for Beth, she divorced her husband, saying: "I realized that I only had myself and so I decided since I'm alone through cancer ... I might as well be alone and I might as well enjoy life."

Right on, sister.

Have you ever had a spouse not help when you were sick?

Man’s Delusional Dating Profile Is More Likely to Scare Off Woman of His Dreams

loveFinding The One isn't easy. Just ask every single woman on the planet. Men certainly aren't immune to that struggle. In fact, one man in Texas is so desperate to find love, he's willing to pay to get exactly what he wants. He is offering a $1,500 finder's fee to anyone who can hook him up with the girl of his dreams. He even created the website SleeplessInAustin.com to detail exactly what he's looking for. Problem is, some of his requirements are a bit outdated, if not bizarre.

First and foremost, wedding photographer Larry Busby wants a "woman of great quality." So what makes a woman of great quality?

"Thin or athletic build""No one over 130-pounds""Ages 21 to 41""White, Hispanic, or of European descent""I will not date any girl that has ever had a threesome or a large number of past sexual partners. I do not want a promiscuous slut.""I will not date a Black girl. I don’t care if she looks like Halle Berry""I do not believe that Whites & Blacs should mix races sexually and have kids together.""I would NEVER, EVER, EVER date a woman if I found out she had EVER been sexually active with a Black man."

Charming, isn't he? A lot of women would consider his rules a total turn-off. He requires a thin, athletic build, but as his website shows, he's certainly no David Backham.

Though, as annoying as this guy sounds, I have to give him credit for being honest about what he wants. If he's serious about finding a wife, why lie? Why pretend he is okay with characteristics that he's not? All too often, people hold back info or aren’t upfront when they are on the dating scene. The result is that you waste both your time and that of the other person. So while his requirements may seem silly or outdated to some, this way, both people know going in whether this has a chance of really working out.

What do you think of this guy's dating requirements?

Stranger Who Helped Woman Deliver Twins After Car Accident Gets Touching Reward

pregnant bellyThere are so many things that can go wrong when in labor and Jessica Stanley, a Florida mom pregnant with twins, experienced one of the most terrifying incidents when it was go-time. The car she was driving in crashed into another car while she was in labor. Jessica's fiance, Antavian Milton, was driving her and their three other children to the hospital because Jessica's water broke. Another car pulled out in front of them and Jessica remembers hitting her head on the windshield and then she blacked out.

Within seconds Betty Horne, a gastroenterology tech at Baptist Hospital, who was in the car behind them, ran to help. Horne had no idea what would happen next would change her life forever.

The panicked dad Milton jumped out the car when Horne approached yelling, "I'm gonna have a baby, she's gonna have twins." Horne reportedly looked in the car and she saw one baby already crowning. She grabbed a towel from her car and caught the baby as he was being born. He wasn't breathing. She swiped the back of the baby's mouth with her fingers to clear the airway and baby started crying. And what a beautiful sound that must have been amidst all the chaos.

New mom Jessica was alert and Horne passed her the baby boy. They named him Antavian II and he weighed 7 pounds and 13 ounces, which is very impressive for a twin. The paramedics arrived and took Jessica to the hospital to deliver baby number 2 by cesarean. That little bundle weighed 7 pounds and 7 ounces and was given the name Antavian III! How very, very sweet -- both named after proud papa. I wonder what their nicknames are going to be!

Horne calls the experience "amazing" and was welcomed just like family there in the recovery room cradling the baby she helped deliver. "I don't even know what a hero is," she said when someone told her that she was one. "I tell you, I don't feel like a hero. I feel that that's something that we all got to do for each other. We all got to help each other."

The family honored Horne for being an amazing human being by asking her to be Antavian II's Godmother. What a beautiful gesture for a beautiful woman who sprang into action to help strangers, and whose actions helped bring a baby's life into this world -- a baby who is healthy and doing fantastic along with twin brother and mom.

Congrats to all!

Woman Gets Letter and Purple Heart of Father She Never Met 70 Years Later (VIDEO)

purple heart medal in handAfter seven decades, a letter from a World War II veteran to his daughter will finally end up in its rightful owner's hands this weekend! Pfc. John Eddington was about to be deployed to Europe in World War II when he learned that his wife had given birth to a daughter named Peggy. He wrote a letter, telling the little girl how much he loved her and wanted to see her. But sadly, he never made it back from the war, and Peggy never met her father ... But his letter and Purple Heart medal both ended up in a box thousands of miles away from Peggy, much like a message in a bottle or a time capsule.

Thankfully, a Missouri woman named Donna Gregory found the box and made it her mission to find Peggy, too, reports the AP ...

Fourteen years ago, Donna was helping her then-husband clean out his grandparents' home in Arnold, Missouri when she stumbled upon a cardboard box filled with WWII memorabilia related to Eddington. No one can really explain what the box was doing there, as Eddington lived in a completely different "neck of the woods" 75 miles southwest of St. Louis. Still, somehow, this box had made its way to that home, and Donna discovered the War Department's message to Eddington's mother about his death in Italy in June 1944, four months after his daughter's birth, the Purple Heart, and the letter Eddington wrote to his daughter while stationed in Texas, just before he was sent overseas. Wow!

Over the course of the next almost decade and a half, Donna did everything she could to track down Peggy. But it wasn't until earlier this year when she started to reach out via Facebook -- oh, the miracle of Facebook! -- that she actually managed to touch base with Peggy Smith, living in Nevada now and of the belief her mother had lost the medal or given it away ... until Donna called.

"It was an unforgettable moment," Donna says, while Peggy could only describe her reaction as "stunned." Aww!

And instead of delivering it herself to Peggy, Donna decided to write a letter to the Patriot Guard Riders, the volunteer organization perhaps best known for patrolling funerals of soldiers to shield relatives from protesters. She said she thought it would be more special if perhaps veterans were to present the Purple Heart to Peggy.

So earlier this week, Donna, her sister, and a friend left St. Louis in an SUV, accompanied by about a dozen motorcyclists from the Patriot Guard. Along the route, different groups of riders are taking turns accompanying Donna. Tomorrow, a parade will begin in Carson City, Nevada and make the 15-mile trek to Dayton, where Peggy will be presented the medal and letter in a ceremony at the high school. Smith's children and most of her 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren will be there. Amazing!!

Though Peggy claims she's "not a big shindig person," she notes she'll be "crying the whole time." As will Donna who says:

I've cherished all of this for a very long time. I've waited for the finale of this journey for over a decade.

Simply incredible. When these two women meet for the first time face to face and Peggy is finally able to read that letter from her father and receive his Purple Heart, it will be such an emotional moment. Here's hoping a local news crew or two capture that moment, because it will be one that is sure to have us all wiping tears from our eyes.

In the meantime, here's a news report documenting Donna and Co. embarking on their journey to Peggy only a few days ago ...

What's your reaction to this amazing story?

A Woman in a Football Jersey Is a Major Beauty DON'T

girls in jerseysIt's football season once more. You know what that means. No, no, I'm not talking about your Fantasy Football League gearing up again. I'm talking about ladies thinking it is a good idea to go around wearing football jerseys. Ugh. Excuse me while I throw up into the bag I keep just for this purpose.

Look, I support boyfriend jeans and oversized button-downs. I've got no beef with ladies wearing ties or a shoe that could be described as "mannish". I've long been a fan of Annie Hall, and as such, I think ladies who can pull off that look should! I just think that broads in jerseys are the exception to this rule.

Sure, you're supporting you team, but couldn't you do it with a hat? Or by waving a pennant flag? I'm not saying you've got to oust your team spirit in order to be fashionable. I'm just saying that there are alternatives to doing it while wearing an item of clothing that is designed to make everyone look like a fat, terrible sandwich.

Lots of ladies try to rectify the jersey's inherently unflattering shape by making it "sexy." I put that word in quotes because tying your jersey into a knot in the front in order to expose your midriff makes it look like there's been some sort of accident and you have to let your abs breathe at all times or you will die. None of it works. Just wear a tee-shirt, dudettes. I promise you, the world will be a better, happier place for us all.

Do you think ladies look okay in football jerseys?

Woman Should Be Fined for Giving Birth on Plane and Inconveniencing Passengers

AppId is over the quota

by Lisa Fogarty 12 hours ago

airplaneMost of us have to admit we've done some pretty inconsiderate things while pregnant. I confess to sending my husband out in the dead of winter on more than one occasion in pursuit of a certain brand and flavor of frozen yogurt.

But when your irresponsible actions could potentially hurt your baby -- not to mention piss off and put out hundreds of people -- well, shame on you. Take, for example, this woman who lied about her pregnancy and gave birth on an airplane. What was she thinking?

An Arik Air flight en route from Nigeria to London had to make an emergency landing in Spain on Sunday because a woman on board was in labor and giving birth while the plane was airborne. Fortunately for the mom, whose name hasn't been released, two doctors on board came to her rescue. Both mom and baby are fine, but the drama is far from over. The airline is now looking into the very real possibility that the woman's doctor provided her with a false medical report that lied about the duration of her pregnancy!

You may recall that, among other rules like not eating sushi and drinking loads of wine, women over 32 weeks pregnant are prohibited from flying. And this is a perfect example of why -- what if a complication had occurred while this woman gave birth and she was unable to take care of it while 32,000 feet in the air? Whatever her reasons for doing something so mindless, the bottom line is that she put her health and the health of her baby at risk

Oh, and let's not forget that she also inconsiderately cost hundreds of other passengers their time and, possibly, money. Who knows how many of those passengers had connecting flights that they missed in London because of this woman? If her doctor must pay some kind of penalty for providing false medical documents, I feel she should also be held accountable for putting herself and her baby at risk, while disrupting the lives of others.

Do you think this woman should pay a penalty for her actions or do you think the 32-week fly cut-off is just ridiculous?

juan pablo galavisAny day now, Juan Pablo Galavis will begin shooting his hotly anticipated season of The Bachelor, so let the speculation about the lucky bachelorettes begin! We already know casting is gonna have to shoot to find the next Bachelor women with sexy curves, being that the former football player confessed he'd prefer the 25 contestants have "nice BUTTS!" Ha! And yesterday, JuanPabs dropped another hint about his dream woman might be like ...

He tweeted, "Watched ADORE last night and DAMN those MOMS are hot... Naomi Watts and Robin Wright got GAME... #CrazyMovie.” OMG! Adore is about two women who are childhood friends/neighbors and fall in love with one another's sons. Ahh!! Does that mean JuanPabs is looking for a sexy COUGAR?!

Okay, yeah, I hate that term, too. But his clearly turned-on tweet is raising eyebrows that maybe Juan Pablo has a thing for single moms who are slightly older than his 32 years? Maybe he'll be open -- or man, even PREFER -- dating women who are in their mid-to-late-30s, as opposed to a typical 20-something PYT? I wouldn't be surprised!

After all, we've known from the start that JuanPabs would want a woman who could be a wonderful stepmom to his beloved little girl Camila ... And a woman who is an experienced single mom will obviously have a track record to point to! Don't get me wrong: I'm not ruling out a younger or non/not-yet-mom contestant as the possible winner of Juan Pablo's heart. But from the looks of it, the wise mamas in the crowd could certainly end up having better odds!

Do you think Juan Pablo will end up with a hot mama? One who is older than he is?

Woman Finally Finds Her Son and He Wasn't At All Who She Expected (VIDEO)

Sometimes, you just know you're a mom. Usually, it happens at the moment of birth. Sometimes, it happens when you first meet your adopted child. Sometimes, it takes a bit longer. It took social worker Connie Going 10 years to realize that 10-year-old Taylor Diaz was her son. But once she realized, that's all it took. Going had been trying to place Taylor, who had been taken from his drug-addicted parents when he was an infant, with a foster family. But due to behavioral problems, he was returned twice. But after seeing Taylor crying over the situation, she suddenly had an epiphany. Taylor was HERS!

Taylor and his two siblings were originally placed in a foster family arranged by Going. But his issues were too much for the family, who eventually returned him to foster care.

He was then placed with a second family, but that one too didn't pan out. Says Going:

All I could think about was how he was feeling and how he was blaming himself, again.

Taylor seems to have some perspective on his situation now, too, saying:

It was always somewhat my fault, but I didn't realize that, you know, when I was growing up.

Sometimes it can take awhile for your destiny to find you, or for you to realize something is your destiny. But it's never too late. And apparently these two were meant for each other.

After Going saw Taylor crying, she says:

You know that ache you get in your chest when your child is crying? I felt that. At that moment, he became my child.

So she stopped trying to find Taylor a home -- and adopted him!

Things didn't go totally smoothly at first. After Tyler threatened to run away, Going told him, "Taylor, I'm not sending you away."

Hearing that his various testing methods weren't resulting in being abandoned again, Taylor said, "Yeah, this is where I belong. She knows my worst side and she still cares about me and still loves me."

It may have taken a decade but the two of them are now exactly where they were supposed to be. Together.

Isn't that amazing?

Has a child ever tested you?

Now in what the heck were they thinking news, a Texas sign company has created quite the controversy by offering a truck decal depicting a kidnapping victim. The photographic image features a woman lying on her side, bound and tied, her blonde hair obscuring her face. The decal, which is meant to be slapped on the back of a tailgate, is incredibly realistic.

Hornet Signs, the company that put this out there, says that it’s meant to be an optical illusion, and they had no idea the amount of negative attention they’d receive!

"I wasn't expecting the reactions that we got, nor was it really anything we certainly condone or anything else," said Hornet Signs owner Brad Kolb. "But it was just something ... we had to put out there to see who notices it."

The sad part is that the publicity stunt seems to have worked -- Kolb claims that decal orders have increased since the controversy hit. Because nothing says, “Buy my product!” quite like making light of kidnapping victims and/or human trafficking.

With sickos like Ariel Castro in the news, you can bet the police aren’t too happy about the stunt either. The image is so lifelike that they’ve received a number calls from people afraid for the woman’s life. What a waste of time and resources for law enforcement, who could be out, you know, rescuing real victims.

While most people seem to be shocked and sickened by the decal, the company has received some support. One person said, “This American business owner has a decal that made the news. Like it or not, it works.”

I’m all for entrepreneurship and the free market, but geez Louise, can we please draw a line somewhere and keep a modicum of respect for our fellow human beings? There’s shock value, and then there’s just plain gross.

What do you think about the ‘kidnapping victim’ decal and the company that created it?

Did Cop Who Punched 'Pregnant' Woman Use Too Much Force?

arrests, pregnant woman arrestedThe police have issued a statement regarding their recent controversial arrest of a 16-year-old teen boy and his 21-year-old sister, Brenda Hardaway, who claims to be pregnant. The story garnered public notice when a video was released of the sister being arrested with what appears to be an undue amount of violence. In the video, she tells the officer she is pregnant as he attempts to cuff her. Eventually, the officer punches her in the head and moves her forcibly to the ground. The Rochester Police argue this claim, saying that their officers acted with "tremendous restraint."

The reason the officers gave for their arrest tactics? They claim that the pregnant woman had pointed a can of pepper spray at them. However, if that is indeed what took place, it wasn't captured on the video which later made its way to YouTube.

Police officers find themselves in high-risk situations every day. Many have lost their lives as they try to do their job and keep the streets safe. Seen from that perspective, you could argue that the police officer was doing what he saw necessary to prevent harm.

Of course, there are times when forceful methods can and should be used when apprehending suspects. If a woman is pointing a gun at a crowd, would you expect the police to keep their hands off of her simply because she is pregnant? No. You wouldn't.

But watching the video a second time, it's harder to believe that this was an instance where the correct amount of force was used. Even if the woman did threaten him with pepper spray, she was well subdued after the fact. The punching and subsequent behavior just seems like it was driven by panic and anger.

Do you think the officer used too much force in this case?

Woman Wakes Up From Coma to Find Out She Is Three Months Pregnant

woman finds out she is pregnant in comaIn an amazing story out of England, a woman woke up from a coma to discover that she was 12 weeks pregnant with a child who managed to miraculously survive the moped crash that put his mother in the hospital. Now, her baby is 12 weeks old and despite massive head injuries that left her unable to remember the previous three years of her life (including who the father was), Gemma Holmes is thrilled to have a healthy son.

The details are almost too grim to believe. Holmes was tossed from her moped into a lamppost and was not expected to survive the traumatic crash. Her mother was told she was 12 weeks pregnant and advised to make the decision to terminate. But it was not a decision her mother felt comfortable making.

Miraculously, Holmes pulled through and was able to continue the pregnancy and give birth to a healthy son through C-section. She named her son Ruben Miracle. The reasons are obvious.

"I just thought that if this little baby inside me had managed to survive the awful crash then he was meant to be," Gemma told The Daily Mail.

It was not an easy pregnancy, either. She was unable to take high dose pain killer for her accident because she was with child so she endured a lot of pain because of it. Still, she persevered.

I will never complain about pregnancy again. Both she and her son are so lucky, but I am in awe of a woman who was so brave and did so much to bring her child into the world. Good for her.

It is also amazing that her mother kept the faith and believed enough not to terminate the pregnancy. She is a huge part of the reason baby Ruben exists. It takes an awful lot of faith to make that leap, but what a good decision.

I can't even imagine the pain she might have felt upon waking to hear she was pregnant and her mother decided to terminate. This story is a true miracle, something we don't get to hear every day.

What an amazing little boy.

Would you have made that same decision if you were the mom?

Woman Unexpectedly Gives Birth at Daughter's Elementary School (VIDEO)

Natasha Richardson and Maria ColinJust when we thought we'd heard of women giving birth in every unexpected place possible, here comes a new one. Maria Lys Colin of Miramar, Florida, actually gave birth inside of an elementary school.

According to the UPI, the woman was in the main office at Fairway Elementary School, which her 7-Year-old daughter attends. She was there to pick her up on the way to the hospital because her husband was out of town, and she knew the baby was coming. When she started moaning and holding her stomach, it became clear, however, that she would be leaving with one more child than she thought she would.

Staff quickly took her to the schools' clinic, and they called 911. Fortunately, Police officer Natasha Richardson, who had some experience in the matter, was on duty at the school and jumped in to help, because it all happened before emergency workers arrived.

Richardson told the Miami Herald, "It was like 1-2-3. Water broke, head came out, baby came out.”

Right there at school! Things were made a little more complicated because the mom didn't speak much English, but an interpreter was able to deliver Richardson's important instructions as to when it was time to push.
Turns out, it just took one push, and the baby girl -- named Maybelle Colin Sainvilus -- was delivered right there in the school while classes went on around them. The ambulance still hadn't arrived, and when she wasn't crying, Richardson cleared the baby's airway with her finger. When rescue workers finally arrived, they cut the umbilical cord, and mom and baby were taken to the hospital. Both are said to be doing fine, and were surprised to get a visit from Richardson in the hospital. What an incredible birth story that is, especially if the little girl goes to school there someday. She can just take the class on a little field trip and have one of the best show and tells ever.

Woman Loses Her Home After Forgetting to Pay $6 Tax Bill

OMG, this story makes me furious!!! A woman has actually lost her home because of a $6 bill. Yes, I'm not making this up!! The woman, Eileen Battisti, owned a $280,000 home in Pennsylvania. When her husband died, she was in the process of taking over all of the finances, which can be an arduous endeavor, let me assure you, and somehow $6.30 in interest on a property tax bill got overlooked. And apparently no one bothered to tell Battisti about it. Soon, interest and penalties accrued and the tax bill was up to $235. And then ... somehow ... horribly ... the house went to auction, with Battisti still living there. And was sold!

She appealed the sale, but the court actually ruled she had received all proper notices and the sale was final.

No one sits on a $6 bill when your house might be sold out from underneath you. This MUST have been a mistake.

Reportedly, Battisti was not only dealing with the death of her husband, but other personal issues as well. It's not stated what these issues were, but I can see a bill going unnoticed for months at a time if you're in the hospital or a family member is, or you're dealing with something else that's major.

Most of these bills come in plain white envelopes and you don't know what the hell they are anyway. And most of us get so much junk mail, you can't tell one thing from another. I've mistakenly let important notices go unopened for months because I thought it was junk mail -- which I admit I have a habit of letting pile up.

No one from the county could, say, give this woman a call?!!

But there is some hope. Another judge has ruled that Battisti -- who still hasn't moved out of her home -- deserves another hearing. Her lawyer insists that despite what the town says, there was NOT sufficient notice of what was happening and there were extenuating circumstances.

As someone who has had to step in suddenly and deal with three different estates and the bills of family members who suddenly died or got sick, let me tell you, it's a strenuous process, and no one helps you, least of all the people billing you. I remember I almost had a heart attack trying to pay off my relative's Internet bill -- since I didn't have her account number, no one would let me pay her bill.

The county tax collector's office should have picked up the damn phone and asked this woman why she hadn't paid a $6 bill before they put it into foreclosure. That's the human thing to do. Whatever happened to being human?

Give the woman her house back!

Have you ever been screwed over by the system for a tiny bill?

Every Married Woman Needs a Plan B in Case of Divorce

parachuteI don't know about most divorced ladies, but I saw my split with my husband coming -- by a few years. I'd brought it up a few times, and he kept talking me out of it, which was sort of a relief. But I knew I was just postponing the inevitable. So I came up with the list: My Plan B. Everything I needed to put in order before I could divorce my husband for real, this time.

I'm so glad I made that list and followed through with it. I'm glad I didn't wallow in denial -- or in false hope. Some might say I doomed my marriage by giving up that hope and planning for the worst. But who's to say what the worst is? I say planning for a split is the most hopeful thing a woman can do.

First on my list was to get a full-time job with health insurance. Before I'd just sort of pieced together a career with freelance this and that. But if I was going to be on my own, I'd need much more stability. No more swinging from vine to vine. Plus, I knew I'd need a reason to get dressed and leave my home every day. I knew working from home in my pajamas would not be conducive to my recovery.

But it wasn't enough for me to just get "a" job -- because I had time, I went after the writing career I'd never thought before I could pull off. Something about taking the bold step of admitting I was headed toward a divorce also emboldened me to stop monkeying around with my career and start working at something I actually wanted to do. As long as I was thinking about what I wanted my life to look like, it just made sense to apply that to my career.

And then I got a hold of my finances. I should have been doing this all along, but I created a spreadsheet tracking all my expenses. I wanted to find out if I could actually make it on my own. To my great relief, the math all worked out.

That's not everything from Plan B, but it's enough to show something interesting: Planning for the "worst" outcome actually improved my life before I even started to divorce my husband. Suddenly it was no longer about giving up -- it was about making smart choices and planning for the future. Even if I hadn't decided to divorce, I would have been moving ahead with a clearer vision of what I wanted my life to look like.

You never know what's going to happen next. It may not be divorce -- your husband could die suddenly. Anything could happen. Viewing your life through the lens of "what if" can be just the motivation and perspective shift you need to make changes that will make you happier regardless of what happens with your marriage.

Have you ever made plans for what you'd do if you lost or divorced your spouse?

Cop Handcuffs Himself to Suicidal Woman to Heroically Save the Day

Police officers are called upon to do all kinds of extraordinary things. They often have to make split-second decisions about how to save someone -- and whether that would mean putting themselves in danger too. Yes, they are cops. They have jobs to do. But they are also people with lives and families and friends and pets. And they want to go home alive to them. So I can only imagine what was going through this police officer's mind when a young suicidal lady crawled onto the ledge of a high billboard and threatened to jump. But the officer decided to do something remarkable. He handcuffed himself to her.

It sounds like something out of a movie -- and I'm pretty sure that scene has been done more than once -- but this really happened, in Beijing, China.

Pictures capture the incredible scene as the distraught woman sits on the ledge of a billboard, threatening to jump. One police officer reached over, grabbed her wrist, and slapped handcuffs on her. He then handcuffed the other side to his own wrist. And then, just to make sure she knew that he was serious ...

He threw away the key!!

Realizing that if she jumped, she would take another person with her, the woman apparently stopped to consider what she was about to do. And changed her mind. Said one cop:

She knew then that if she died, she'd take someone with her and that seemed to bring her back.

The officer was then able to tie a rope around the woman and haul her back onto the building where he stood.

It's hard to say whether the woman would have been able to jump with enough force and weight to carry the man over the side too, but hell, would YOU have risked that? Not sure I would have.

No word on what brought the lady to the brink of suicide, but kudos to this cop for risking his own life to save that of a desperate stranger. The only thing that would make this story sweeter is if these two got married or something, but, well ... I've seen too many movies.

What would you have done?

Woman Goes to Desperate Lengths to Have Good-Looking Children

diapers on lineAll this woman wanted was some beautiful babies. In a scandalous, anonymously-written post, a married mother admits she conceived four babies by different men -- all behind her husband's back. And it wasn't because of the phenomenal sex, so she says. It was for the sake of the children! She just wanted to make sure they had all the advantages life has to offer, including the advantage of being extraordinarily good looking. She wanted "handsome" babies, is all.

Does this story sound totally made-up to you? It should. But you probably want to hear all the details anyway. I know I did.

"Josephine" says became aware of how differently beautiful children (like she was) are treated than homely children from an early age. "And so it was that I silently vowed I would have only handsome and beautiful children at whatever cost." Alas, Josephine failed to marry a handsome man. She married a really great guy who just happened to be too toad-like to sire the beautiful children she desired. So she she did a little outsourcing.

Her adventures in selective breeding began early. Three months after their honeymoon, she hooked up with the intern 10 years her junior. She just happened to bump into the same guy, conveniently two and a half years later, and conceived another baby. Then she had a fruitful fling with the supermarket attendant, followed by a very productive tryst with her trainer at the gym (I mean, you were waiting for that one, right?). And conveniently enough, all the kids look just like her and her husband never suspects a thing. He joyfully raises all these stunning specimens of childhood as if they were his own, which as far as he knows, they are.

So wow, Josephine managed to carry out her plan without a hitch. Well, aside from the massive guilt that squashes her heart like a giant elephant foot.

This story is so ridiculous, it is all I can do to keep writing here. But just for the sake of argument, let's pretend it's true. Is it really so terrible? Look, no one's gotten hurt ... yet. Josephine got her gorgeous gaggle of kids and her husband probably feels like he won the kid lottery. It's like getting away with the perfect murder, only instead of killing someone, she's created life, really attractive life.

Ugh. No. You know what? I can't. I cannot play devil's advocate here. This was a deeply wrong thing to do, and I hope this story truly is fictional. But you just know someone, somewhere out there, is hatching the exact same plan right now.

How often do you think women deliberately conceive a baby by another father?
