set him free quote"Sex Confessions" is a series featuring your naughtiest bedroom secrets and fantasies. Some will sound familiar, others may give you ideas, some will turn you on, and some are dark and twisted. You might want to sit down for this.

Paul* and Anna* have been married for seven years. They have a son who is 3 and seemingly have a happy marriage with no issues. And they are happy -- very happy Anna insists, but a little incident last year has made Anna concerned now. She allowed her husband to sleep with another woman. And he did. Just once. And they hadn't talked about it much until recently. I'll let Anna explain.

Paul and I have had those talks that so many couples do about who our free pass would be. Mine is Charlie Hunnam and we've joked about it when we watch Sons of Anarchy. (I can't wait for Fifty Shades of Grey movie!) Paul's free pass was Jennifer Lopez until one day when we were playfully discussing these celebrity crushes that we clearly never would have a chance with and he said he would add Jessica* to the list. Jessica is our friend. More his friend than mine, but I like her very much. She and Paul used to work together and we'd go out with her and her husband quite often before we had kids. Jessica ended up getting a new job and divorced, and moved about an hour away though Paul still kept in touch with her here and there.

For some reason I told him I would allow him to have a free pass with Jessica. I really thought I wasn't truly agreeing to anything. I never thought it would happen. And I wasn't even jealous when he told me she would be his free pass because I think it's healthy to be attracted to other people and playfully think about it. He was telling me about it so I just thought it was just that -- him telling me he had the hots for his friend Jessica.

This was last year. And a few weeks after that conversation, he told me he spoke to Jessica and she was into it. He wanted me to honor that free pass. So I did. And I regret it.

Maybe I didn't think it would really happen. Maybe I was shocked that he actually asked her if she wanted to have sex with him. But it happened. Just once. And I can't help but feel totally insecure in my relationship now even though I said it was okay. We never discussed it in those early days after it happened. But in the last few months I've wanted to know more. He says it wasn't that great. That he thought about me. That they don't really talk anymore as friends. But I'm not sure how to deal with it all.

What do you think Anna should do? Would you ever allow your husband to be with another woman?

Men Finally Allowed to Give Cooking Advice on Turkey Hot Line in 2013

turkeyIs it too early to talk about Thanksgiving? Yes. Yes it is. I'd like to apologize for leapfrogging Halloween here in the middle of September but I have breaking turkey news: For the first time ever, turkey-producer Butterball is manning their Turkey Talk Line with actual men. So when you call up the hotline for advice on roasting your holiday bird, you just might get that advice from a man. Oh my God, is this 2013? Did we just travel back in time? Is this really happening?

A little history. When Butterball first opened its talk line in days of yore (1981), it started with just six women selected for their expertise in turkey cookery. Over time the crew grew by word-of-mouth recommendations, the company says. They didn't hire only women on purpose, it just kind of happened that way. But now, with so many men finally donning aprons and daring to roast turkeys (for the 32nd year in a row), the company has decided to actively seek men who could give the male callers more manly advice.

Mantastic! I guess. I suppose I'm glad they're getting with the times and putting guys on the line. But I can't believe this just occurred to them. Don't we all know men who cook? No, it's more than that. Don't we all know men who cook and consider themselves experts and just LOVE telling other people how to cook? I know quite a few men like that. I'm not complaining -- not while I'm eating their food, anyway. But come on, men love dispensing wisdom on whatever they think they're experts on. Why has the Turkey Talk Line been depriving them all this time?

Hell, they probably don't even need to find actual cooking expert men. I know men who will spout out advice on any such whatnot even when they don't know what the hell they're talking about. They literally cannot help themselves. You just say, "I'm having trouble ..." or "I'm having emotions about something ..." and they're all, "Let me tell you how to fix that!" Wasn't the phrase "talk turkey" pretty much invented for men?

Oh, I know. I'm being unfair. Really, I find this trait endearing most of the time. Perhaps what's really changed isn't that more men are cooking; maybe what's new is that men are more open to taking advice from other people. Maybe that's the real sea change. More men are stopping and asking for directions -- on the road and in the kitchen. Well hooray for that! We all win, then.

Would any of the men in your life call a turkey help line for advice?

kim kardashianAren't you glad you're not famous, so if you want to share your baby photos, all you have to do is snap a few and then email/Instagram/Facebook them to friends and family? Poor, unfortunate Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are desperately struggling to share baby North's photos with the world in just the right, classy way. A source claims that Kanye wants North to make her debut in Vogue -- but editor Anna Wintour is having none of it.

Kanye, of course, is a big fashion nerd. And Anna may not mind him so much as his tabloidy lady friend. "But it’s also pretty well-known that Anna is NO fan of Kim or any reality star appearing in the pages of the magazine. Kanye is determined to make sure baby North isn’t photographed by paparazzi then splashed across the world. He knows what he wants -- a professional photographer and the cover of Vogue -- nothing else. But clearly, trying to persuade Anna is going to be an uphill battle." So Kanye has reportedly compiled a stack of statistics showing that the Kardashian brand sells magazines. But who needs Vogue, anyway?

Talk about not wanting to belong to a club that will take you -- I think Kanye just wants to break into the one club that won't let him in. If he's so concerned about North making a glamorous, non-tabloid debut, there are other magazines with just as much prestige.

W magazine featured Kim on their cover a while back, and they just did an interview with Kanye. It's kind of the smarter, more daring Vogue, in fact. I like it a hundred times better than bloated Vogue with its constant pandering to boring socialites.

What about Harper's Bazaar? Or one of the international Vogue magazines? Obviously Marie Claire, Glamour, and Cosmo are not quite fancy enough for Kanye (though just fine for the rest of us plebs). But he could think a little more outside the box -- like maybe Interview or Vanity Fair.

WHAT AM I SAYING?!? Am I really taking this question of where Nori's photos should be published this seriously? The EFF do I care? Ugh, I've got more important things to worry about here. Figure this thing out on your own, Kanye. I'm just saying -- not everyone thinks Vogue is all that.

But hey, Kanye is God! That means he can just command Anna Wintour, right? Or maybe when she sees how cute Nori is, it'll just melt the ice queen's heart. I'm rooting for you, Nori!

What do you think of North West appearing on the cover of Vogue?
