kim kardashianAren't you glad you're not famous, so if you want to share your baby photos, all you have to do is snap a few and then email/Instagram/Facebook them to friends and family? Poor, unfortunate Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are desperately struggling to share baby North's photos with the world in just the right, classy way. A source claims that Kanye wants North to make her debut in Vogue -- but editor Anna Wintour is having none of it.

Kanye, of course, is a big fashion nerd. And Anna may not mind him so much as his tabloidy lady friend. "But it’s also pretty well-known that Anna is NO fan of Kim or any reality star appearing in the pages of the magazine. Kanye is determined to make sure baby North isn’t photographed by paparazzi then splashed across the world. He knows what he wants -- a professional photographer and the cover of Vogue -- nothing else. But clearly, trying to persuade Anna is going to be an uphill battle." So Kanye has reportedly compiled a stack of statistics showing that the Kardashian brand sells magazines. But who needs Vogue, anyway?

Talk about not wanting to belong to a club that will take you -- I think Kanye just wants to break into the one club that won't let him in. If he's so concerned about North making a glamorous, non-tabloid debut, there are other magazines with just as much prestige.

W magazine featured Kim on their cover a while back, and they just did an interview with Kanye. It's kind of the smarter, more daring Vogue, in fact. I like it a hundred times better than bloated Vogue with its constant pandering to boring socialites.

What about Harper's Bazaar? Or one of the international Vogue magazines? Obviously Marie Claire, Glamour, and Cosmo are not quite fancy enough for Kanye (though just fine for the rest of us plebs). But he could think a little more outside the box -- like maybe Interview or Vanity Fair.

WHAT AM I SAYING?!? Am I really taking this question of where Nori's photos should be published this seriously? The EFF do I care? Ugh, I've got more important things to worry about here. Figure this thing out on your own, Kanye. I'm just saying -- not everyone thinks Vogue is all that.

But hey, Kanye is God! That means he can just command Anna Wintour, right? Or maybe when she sees how cute Nori is, it'll just melt the ice queen's heart. I'm rooting for you, Nori!

What do you think of North West appearing on the cover of Vogue?

pope francisAs you've probably heard by now, Pope Francis is making major headlines for a comment he made while in Rio de Janeiro last week for World Youth Day regarding homosexuality in the clergy

“If someone is gay and he searches for the Lord and has good will, who am I to judge?”

WHOA. Now, for anyone who wasn't raised unrelentingly, uncompromisingly Catholic (I was, in case you were wondering), the Pope's remark might seem relatively unremarkable. Big deal, it's not like he said he approved of being gay or anything. You call that progressive?? But here's the thing: Coming from THE POPE?! Trust me, that's the most progressive comment any pontiff has ever made. Pope John Paul II, for example, called the concept of gay marriage a "new ideology of evil." So ... see what I mean?

Even more hopeful is this latest quote taken in the context of Francis' other tolerant statements:

On atheists going to heaven:

The Lord created us in His image and likeness, and we are the image of the Lord, and He does good and all of us have this commandment at heart: do good and do not do evil. All of us. "But, Father, this is not Catholic! He cannot do good." Yes, he can ... The Lord has redeemed all of us, all of us, with the Blood of Christ: all of us, not just Catholics. Everyone! "Father, the atheists?" Even the atheists. Everyone! ... We must meet one another doing good. "But I don’t believe, Father, I am an atheist!" But do good: we will meet one another there.

On acceptance in general:

When a person or a society suffers devaluation and disintegration, certainly in the bottom of their hearts they lack peace and joy, and sadness nests. Disunity and contempt are children of sorrow. Sadness is a truth that belongs to the spirit of this world, and the remedy is joy.

On the importance of loving all people:

Those who love with all their being, even full of foibles and limits, are flying with lightness, free of influences and pressures.

Are you surprised by the Pope's comments about gay clergy?

Wrong House Demolished in BIG Mistake That Left Couple Wondering Where Their House Went (VIDEO)

wrong house demolishedI've lost my keys more times than I can count, and even my minivan in a big parking lot on an occasion or two. I simply can't imagine, however, how David Underwood and his wife must have felt when they couldn't find their own home -- not even when they were sitting in their driveway.

That's because their three-bedroom home had been mistakenly demolished by the city of Fort Worth. According to Fox4, the city crew was supposed to knock down a condemned home at 9708 Watercress. Instead they knocked down Underwood's house at 9716. Oops!

Underwood told the station:

We came around Silver Creek looking for the lot and my wife said, David… I think the house is gone. We looked up there and sure enough, it's gone!

A neighbor reportedly tried to get in touch with city officials when he saw the mistake happening, but that didn't help. The house was completely leveled, and all that's left is a concrete slab.

The good news is that it could have been much much worse. Fortunately, there wasn't a whole lot inside. It was a home that had belonged to Underwood's grandmother, and he was planning to fix it up and move into it. He and his wife had shown up to mow the lawn when they found it missing. So it's not like all of their worldly possessions were demolished too. Phew.

Underwood himself has a great and inspirational attitude about it. Rather than lashing out in anger demanding apologies and threatening lawsuits, he told the station, "I see so much around here, people that need help and have less that, it’s an accident, let’s do what’s right and move on."

But still ... wow.
