'Real Housewives of New Jersey' Recap: Penny Drossos Confirms What Everyone Suspected About Teresa Giudice

Finally, it was the moment we've been waiting for all season on The Real Housewives of New Jersey (also pretty much the only thing we've talked about all season) -- the showdown between Teresa Giudice and Penny Drossos. Or I should say the big moment take two after that first fake, staged one when Penny backed up Teresa's story that they were not friends (with Teresa staring her down).

Melissa Gorga (aka Melissa GaGa) confronted Teresa with the accusations Penny had made about her last week, and Teresa, of course, denied them, saying she didn't know Penny from a hole in the wall. Then tweets about the Lauritas faking their son's autism for publicity started coming from Penny's husband, and everyone wanted answers as to why these people were so focused on taking down their family. Kim D's big store opening provided the perfect opportunity.

Jacqueline wasted no time in confronting Penny, whose husband, Johnny, wasn't there. Penny denied that her husband had ever tweeted that about Jacqueline's son ... then she changed her tune and she said they were put up to it. She continued talking out of both sides of her mouth when Melissa pulled her away to talk to Teresa.

It was comical really with all the fingers flying, and eff bombs going off. If only Teresa had saved her purple pimp outfit for this occasion, it would have been even better, but unfortunately she used that for her bizarro lunch/advice session with Victoria Gotti.

The whole Penny-Teresa confrontation was a bit hard to follow with all the yelling, but one thing came across very clear -- Penny said Teresa was behind everything. She said Teresa knew Melissa was being set up at the fashion show last year, and that she wanted to destroy her. Bam -- she confirmed what everyone has suspected about Teresa all along. The problem -- she's about as trustworthy as ... Teresa.

Teresa's only rebuttal was that Penny is crazy and wanted to destroy their family. I would really like to give Teresa the benefit of the doubt. I don't want to believe she'd really do these things to her own family, but she doesn't seem innocent either. And really, where else would Penny be getting all of this information? I think it's probably something like Jacqueline suggested --  Teresa started it all and then couldn't stop it when she wanted it stop. Now it's biting her in the ass. 

Next week's finale looks intense, complete the brawl that has several of them still facing assault charges. Weren't they just singing "Kumbaya"?

A Woman in a Football Jersey Is a Major Beauty DON'T

It's football season once more. You know what that means. No, no, I'm not talking about your Fantasy Football League gearing up again. I'm talking about ladies thinking it is a good idea to go around wearing football jerseys. Ugh. Excuse me while I throw up into the bag I keep just for this purpose.

Look, I support boyfriend jeans and oversized button-downs. I've got no beef with ladies wearing ties or a shoe that could be described as "mannish". I've long been a fan of Annie Hall, and as such, I think ladies who can pull off that look should! I just think that broads in jerseys are the exception to this rule.

Sure, you're supporting you team, but couldn't you do it with a hat? Or by waving a pennant flag? I'm not saying you've got to oust your team spirit in order to be fashionable. I'm just saying that there are alternatives to doing it while wearing an item of clothing that is designed to make everyone look like a fat, terrible sandwich.

Lots of ladies try to rectify the jersey's inherently unflattering shape by making it "sexy." I put that word in quotes because tying your jersey into a knot in the front in order to expose your midriff makes it look like there's been some sort of accident and you have to let your abs breathe at all times or you will die. None of it works. Just wear a tee-shirt, dudettes. I promise you, the world will be a better, happier place for us all.

Parque de atracciones FunTown es no más después del fuego devastador
Mi estómago se hundió cuando escuché que el famoso Jersey Shore boardwalk en Seaside Park y Seaside Heights fue en abetoe esta semana. El área que hizo Snooki y JWoww nombres muy conocidos incluso totalmente no se ha recuperado de la devastación del Huracán Sandy. ¿Ahora esto? ¿Cuánto puede soportar esta pobre gente?

Ahora que las llamas están fuera, el duro trabajo de indagando fuera la causa del incendio está en marcha. Ya tienen una gran determinación.

Los funcionarios han declarado el incendio, el cual se informa que han comenzado cerca Frozen Custard de Kohr en jueves donde--es "no sospechoso". Eso significa que no hay nada que indique que alguien empezó el incendio.

¿Creo que es una buena noticia?

No es que realmente puedes encontrar muchas cosas buenas en un incendio que dañó unas 30 empresas en dos ciudades, propiedades propiedad de personas que ya han sufrido tanto. Pero al menos nadie estaba enfermo lo suficiente para brindar más devastación por estas personas.

La causa oficial sí mismo se espera que después de investigadores acabado estudiando a través de los escombros, pero la gente tendrá que pacientes con ellos, o tan paciente como pueden ser. Pequeños fuegos siguen surgiendo, enviando bomberos vuelvan a trabajar para pisotearlos. Reconstrucción tendrá que esperar hasta termine.

El lema de Jersey Shore desde Sandy ha sido "más fuerte que la tormenta". Esperemos que también son "más fuertes que el fuego".

'Real Housewives of New Jersey' Recap: Joe Giudice Admits He's Terrified To Go to Prison

The healing continued on tonight's episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. The Arizona dessert has done them all good, and they seem destined to go back to Jersey at least a little less dysfunctional than they came.

First up was horse whisperer/psychic Wyatt Webb. The cowboy with insight as deep as his drawl was a master at picking up on the issues each of them faced. Now, seeing as how their whole lives have played out on TV for years, he could have just done some serious RHONJ marathons to come to his conclusions, but he didn't seem the type. Regardless of his technique though, he did somehow draw out some deep emotions from the gang.

Rosie Pierri admitted that she often feels like she's not good enough because she isn't married with children. Al Manzo admitted he was emotionally abused as a child by his father; and Kathy Wakile admitted she puts herself last way too often. As poignant as those moments were, however, Joe Giudice's admission was by far the most shocking.

He admitted that he was worried about his upcoming trial. Once he did that, he was able to lift the horse's leg. It seemed small -- anyone would be nervous about a trial that could potentially send them to prison -- but Joe has never shown this kind of vulnerability before. Everything is usually one big expletive-filled joke with him. So it was surprising to see him show so much vulnerability. 

Later when it was just him and Teresa, he expressed even more fear. He told her:

It's not like I'm a f**king criminal where I've been to f**king prison a million f**king times, ya know? I never f**king killed anybody, never did anything to f**king hurt anybody. I don't belong there and I don't wanna go there.

I've never had much, if any, sympathy for the guy, but tonight I felt some twinges of it. If he did the crime, then he needs to do the time, but it still was hard to watch that fear in him. Of course, there's also the strong possibility he was just trying to spin the story and get some sympathy while the cameras were rolling, but I felt for him regardless.

Mostly I feel for Teresa and their daughters, especially because he was just talking about the identity theft case against him at that point. This episode was filmed before the whole financial fraud case they both were charged with this summer that could send them both to prison for decades. If they were scared then, they've got to be terrified now.

Were you surprised to see Joe Giudice get so emotional? Did you feel bad for him ... even a tiny bit?

'Real Housewives of New Jersey' Recap: Melissa Gorga Cheating Rumors Turn Into a Big Hairy Mess

Just when it looked like it was all peace and light with the RHONJ crew, tonight we saw that nothing has really changed all that much when it comes to the feud between Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice. Though they both said sorry and hugged it out, neither of them trusts the other. Of course, neither seems all that trustworthy, so there's that too.

With Melissa's book on finding your true love coming out, she was all sorts of bent out of shape that someone had been planting rumors that she'd cheated on Joe. She immediately suspected Teresa had something to do with it, and although she didn't come out and accuse her of it, she implied it as heavily as she applies her eye shadow.

Teresa was bound and determined to prove her innocence ... a little too bound and determined though.

Teresa invited Melissa to her hair product line launch, and was adamant that she confront Penny and Jan (the women who had been spreading rumors about her) there. She promised to have her back, and said this was her opportunity.

Only when Jan confronted Melissa, Teresa just stood there blinking her eyes the whole time. Jan went off on Melissa and accused her again of getting together with her ex. Not a bit of back covering from Tre there.

Then Penny came up, and Melissa couldn't get a straight answer out of her when she asked who was asking all these questions about her. It was partly because Teresa kept interrupting her to make sure she cleared Teresa's name. No she and Penny aren't friends. No she'd never met Angelo before he confronted Melissa about dancing at his club. Nope, none of it had anything to do with Teresa. Smug, satisfied, and vindicated, Teresa skipped off ... though not before Penny left. She wasn't about to leave her and Melissa alone together.

The Gorgas weren't convinced of Teresa's innocence at all. In fact, her little production may have done more harm than good. "I don’t feel like I’m getting the whole truth," Joe said. "Teresa’s trying too hard to make herself look innocent." 

Melissa concurred, "Nothing adds up. It just feels like someone’s hands are a little dirty." I'm not a huge Melissa fan, but I agree -- nothing does add up. Someone is pulling the puppet strings, and who else would have a motive other than Teresa? I think it's possible/probable that she has at least something to do with the whole thing. Of course, it also wouldn't surprise me at all if some of the rumors about Melissa are true.

Next week it looks like the whole gang is off to Arizona for a relaxing spa vacation to celebrate Melissa's birthday. When talking about how nice and healing it will be, Joe Gorga said (in all seriousness), "Everyone gets along on vacation." Ha!

Best moment of the night: Jacqueline Laurita's amazing reunion with her son Nicholas. Tears!

'Real Housewives of New Jersey' recapitulación: Teresa quiere llevarse a Jacqueline Down

El episodio de hoy de The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Teresa Giudice intentaron completar su recorrido de Ammends por reunión con su ex amiga, Jacqueline Laurita. Y fue, en una palabra, horriblemente. En dos palabras, absolutamente horrible. En diez, dulce niño Jesús, no pudo haber sido peor.

Después de hacer las paces con Joe y Melissa en el retiro, Tre hizo una promesa a Caroline que sentaría con Jacqueline para tratar de arreglar las cosas para arriba. Pero supongo que Teresa debe haber malinterpretado de Caroline intención. Donde estoy pensando en Caroline quería las señoras que se reúnen para trabajar sus sh * t hacia fuera, Teresa pensé claramente Caroline quería que se reúnan para Teresa dijeras Jacqueline todo lo que está mal por ella.

Cuando Teresa llama Jacqueline, Jacqueline fue en realidad muy graciosa. Incluso dijo que Teresa "Gracias por llamar" cuando bajaron el teléfono. Parecía que las dos mujeres fueron respectivamente en buenos lugares e iban a tener una discusión respetuosa que no necesariamente puede dejarlos agotando a los encantos de amigo mejor más cercana ' n ' cosas, pero eso les dejaría civil uno al otro.

No tanto.

No sé qué intenciones de Jacqueline estaban en recibirme con Teresa, pero Teresa claramente quería "exponer" Jacqueline tanto como pudo. Era, de ninguna manera, hay que hacer las cosas bien. En lugar de centrarse en el presente y cuestiones que implicó su relación, Teresa trajo cosas que Jacqueline hizo a Danielle Staub , por amor de Dios. Nadie dijo Jacqueline era un ángel, pero al menos parecía que ella estaba tratando de llegar a un lugar decente con Teresa. Donde como Teresa entró, pistolas, tratando de lograr a Dios sabe qué.

En un Bravo impactante edición de movimiento, la conversación entre las dos mujeres fue corta y recogerá volver la semana que viene. Pero de lo que hemos visto esta noche, no va a ningún lado bueno.

No estoy muy seguro de cómo van a recuperar de Teresa diciendo "Me di cuenta que hay gente malvada en el mundo, y tú eres uno de ellos" a Jacqueline. Es decir, ¿a dónde vas desde allí?
