Snooki & Sasha FarberOMG! Dancing With the Stars season 17 just keeps getting better and better every week. I gotta say, this is some of the stiffest competition the show has ever seen.

The pros definitely seemed to kick things up a notch this week and pushed their partners to the limit. While Brant Daugherty, Leah Remini, Elizabeth Berkley, and Christina Milian were very impressive this evening, by far the best dance of the night for me was Snooki and Sasha's quick step.

Damn. Can you believe that one-handed cartwheel? Snooki is a ballsy girl, but that was a risky move even for her -- and she totally nailed it.

More From Our Partners: Check Out Snooki's One-Handed Cartwheel!

When this show started, did you really think she'd take the competition so seriously? It's like she's a completely different person than the feisty meatball we all knew and loved on Jersey Shore -- but that's definitely a good thing. She's smart. And sassy. And sexy. And as the weeks go on, Snooki is also proving herself to be an awesome dancer. (Who knew?!?)

But despite all of the amazing performances so far, someone had to go home tonight, and it's not shocking at all that this was the end of the road for Bill Nye. Sure, he's adorable. But he's a "Science Guy," not a ballroom dancer.

What was your favorite dance tonight, and are you surprised that Bill went home?

To is invalid
Parameter name: to

'Sister Wives' Season Finale Recap: Will the Browns Add a 5th Wife in Season 5? (VIDEO)

sister wives Well, another season of Sister Wives has come to a close! Can you even believe it?? We've been watching this motley crew of Mormons for four entire seasons now, witnessing such huge life changes as the addition of a fourth wife, two new babies, a major geographical move, and much, much more. And after all that, what does the world at large care about? What's the only Sister Wives related issue the Browns' faithful audience really, really cares about??

Well, actually there are two:

1. Are the wives jealous of each other?

2. Are they ever gonna add a fifth wife?

Yup, essentially the same questions that everybody's had for the Browns since Day 1 (or since after Robyn became the official fourth wife, anyway). So of course Kody, Meri, Janelle, Christine, and Robyn addressed those questions while on the couch during the "Sister Wives Tell All" segment of the show, and of course their answers were the same as they always are:

1. Yes, sometimes the wives get jealous of each other but that's to be expected and it's just something they all deal with and blah, blah, blah.

2. Um, well, Kody's not actively seeking another wife but then again he didn't go out looking for Robyn, either, and she just happened and, um ...

Personally, I don't think the Browns will be tossing another wife into the mix anytime soon -- or anytime, ever, really. (Not from the look on Christine's face when the idea came up.) Plus, now that TLC already has that My 5 Wives show lined up, what would be the point?

Anyway. Not a whole lotta cliffhangers going into season 5, but maybe that's okay. Maybe we'll just tune into Sister Wives as a way of checking in on old friends instead of getting our vicarious plural marriage kicks. On that note, check out this clip of the kids saying nice stuff about their nice parents:

Do you think the Sister Wives will add a fifth wife in season 5?

'Real Housewives of New Jersey' Recap: Penny Drossos Confirms What Everyone Suspected About Teresa Giudice

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota
by Julie Ryan Evans 6 hours ago

Penny DrossosFinally, it was the moment we've been waiting for all season on The Real Housewives of New Jersey (also pretty much the only thing we've talked about all season) -- the showdown between Teresa Giudice and Penny Drossos. Or I should say the big moment take two after that first fake, staged one when Penny backed up Teresa's story that they were not friends (with Teresa staring her down).

Melissa Gorga (aka Melissa GaGa) confronted Teresa with the accusations Penny had made about her last week, and Teresa, of course, denied them, saying she didn't know Penny from a hole in the wall. Then tweets about the Lauritas faking their son's autism for publicity started coming from Penny's husband, and everyone wanted answers as to why these people were so focused on taking down their family. Kim D's big store opening provided the perfect opportunity.

Jacqueline wasted no time in confronting Penny, whose husband, Johnny, wasn't there. Penny denied that her husband had ever tweeted that about Jacqueline's son ... then she changed her tune and she said they were put up to it. She continued talking out of both sides of her mouth when Melissa pulled her away to talk to Teresa.

It was comical really with all the fingers flying, and eff bombs going off. If only Teresa had saved her purple pimp outfit for this occasion, it would have been even better, but unfortunately she used that for her bizarro lunch/advice session with Victoria Gotti.

The whole Penny-Teresa confrontation was a bit hard to follow with all the yelling, but one thing came across very clear -- Penny said Teresa was behind everything. She said Teresa knew Melissa was being set up at the fashion show last year, and that she wanted to destroy her. Bam -- she confirmed what everyone has suspected about Teresa all along. The problem -- she's about as trustworthy as ... Teresa.

Teresa's only rebuttal was that Penny is crazy and wanted to destroy their family. I would really like to give Teresa the benefit of the doubt. I don't want to believe she'd really do these things to her own family, but she doesn't seem innocent either. And really, where else would Penny be getting all of this information? I think it's probably something like Jacqueline suggested --  Teresa started it all and then couldn't stop it when she wanted it stop. Now it's biting her in the ass.

Next week's finale looks intense, complete the brawl that has several of them still facing assault charges. Weren't they just singing "Kumbaya"?

Who do you believe -- Teresa or Penny?

'Breaking Bad' Recap: Jesse Endures Yet Another Unspeakable Loss

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

Did anyone consider taking a prophylactic medication from the benzodiazepine family before watching tonight's Breaking Bad? I'm not saying that would have been an advisable decision, I'm saying that it would have been understandable. Sadly for me the strongest thing in my household is a sticky years-old bottle of generic Nyquil, so I had to make do with sitting on the edge of the couch and anxiously grinding every speck of enamel off my teeth.

By the end of last week's episode, a major character was dead and Walt's life had taken a dramatic turn, to say the least. Here's what went down in tonight's episode, titled "Granite State."

(Spoilers ahead.)

We start with Saul joining Walt in the vacuum store/new-identity-making location, where he learns that 1) he's destined for a future in Nebraska ("Probably managing a Cinnabon"), and 2) Walt wants to take out Jack and the Nazis in order to steal back his cash. Walt tries to strong-arm Saul into joining him in this effort, but before he can deliver his intimidating speech about things not being over until he says so, he collapses into a lung-rattling fit of coughing. "It's over," says Saul sadly, and walks away.

Jack's gang tears apart the Schrader's home and finds Jesse's taped confession, which they watch with great enjoyment. Skyler faces the authorities and acknowledges she's aware of just how deep of a pile of shit she's in, then goes home to smoke moodily until she's interrupted by a fussing Holly, who turns out to be fussing on account of the masked men lurking in her bedroom waiting to scare me half to death. I'm 99% positive Todd's going to kill someone in this scene, but he's satisfied with terrifying Skyler into promising she'll never talk to the cops about Lydia.

Todd -- dressed up like a kid on a date -- meets Lydia for one of her signature Awkward Top Secret Cafe Conversations, where he tells her his meth quality is super-awesome again thanks to Jesse. He gazes lovingly at the back of her head and gently plucks a bit of lint off her shirt, and if he's nearly likable in this moment, he's even more strangely compelling later, when he bring Jesse ice cream (lowered via "It puts the lotion on its skin" bucket) and lingers as if reluctant to leave Jesse's company. "Have a good night, Jesse," Todd says warmly, as if he's, you know, not talking to someone he's personally bludgeoned to the point of deformity and imprisoned in a concrete pen.

Saul's make-a-new-life guy drives Walt out to a remote snow-covered cabin in New Hampshire. He warns Walt not to leave the cabin, and leaves with the plans to return in a month. Walt immediately grabs some cash and attempts to head into town, but stops at the gate and coughs weakly. "Tomorrow," Walt promises himself. "Tomorrow."

Jesse makes an impressive attempt to escape, but just as he's scaling the fence he's caught. He screams for them to go ahead and kill him, because there's no way in hell he's going to cook any more. Next thing you know, Todd shows up at Andrea's house, oozing charm and saying he's a friend of Jesse's, and entices her to step out on the porch. As she peers around confusedly, we see Jesse inside a vehicle, bound and screaming behind a gag. “Just so you know, this isn’t anything personal,” Todd says, then shoots her in the back of the head.

Jesse, who's now suffered so much I don't even really know if I want him to survive the finale, because jesus how much can one man take, completely freaks out. Jack tells him to simmer down. "Remember, there's still the kid," he says, evilly.

Back at Walt's cabin, time has passed. He's got a beard, he's gaunt, his interaction with Saul's guy makes it clear a few months have gone by. Despite it all, I can't help but feel sorry for him: he's wasting away, so lonely he's willing to pay Saul's guy $10K to stay one hour.

We learn that Skyler's using her maiden name, and when Walt's wedding ring falls from his bony finger he seems to collect himself for a risky endeavor: he packs up some money and makes his way into town where he gets Walt Jr. on the phone. I lose my sympathy for him as he unspools the same old excuses about why he did what he did, but I gain it back when Flynn finally snaps, shouting that he doesn't want Walt's money, that Walt should just leave them alone, and why hasn't he died yet? Just DIE.

Shattered, Walt dials the DEA and leaves the phone hanging so it can be traced. He sits at the bar and catches sight of the television, where Charlie Rose is interviewing his former friends Elliot and Gretchen from Grey Matter. They neatly dissociate themselves from Walt, claiming that the only thing he ever contributed to the company was the name. Gretchen pours salt on Walt's myriad wounds by saying, "Walt's gone. The sweet, kind man that we used to know is gone.”

Walt burns. The police show up and storm the bar (atmospheric points for the masterfully extended theme song here), but all that's left is his unfinished drink. We know Walt goes on to buy an M60 and a car from an arms dealer, and we know he eventually makes his way back to his own house and to that hidden ricin … but as for everything else, we've got exactly one more episode to tie up Breaking Bad's various loose ends.

What did you think of tonight's episode? After last week's "Ozymandias," this one wasn't quite such a jaw-dropper for me, but god, it was so relentlessly devastating. I cannot wait to see where this story goes next Sunday.

'DWTS' Premiere Recap: Season 17 Kicks Off With One Shock After Another

dwts season 17 cast

Ahhhhh!

(Mamá me gusta).

OMG. No puedo esperar para la próxima semana.

'Tamra's OC Wedding' Finale Recap: Tamra Barney and Eddie Judge FINALLY Make it To The Altar and No One Can Stop Crying

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota
by Rebecca Stokes 11 hours ago

tamra barney, tamra's oc wedding, eddie judgeTwo things worth noting happened during this, the culmination of 'Tamra's OC Wedding'. The first, Tamra finally got her vagina and butt-hole waxed. It was like a horror movie...for the two male friends she forced into the waxing stall with her. No, but seriously. One of her dudes walked in and actually started screaming and clawing at his eyes while bellowing, "I SAW YOUR MUSSEL!" Classy.

The second and perhaps more pertinent event of this week's episode? Tamra and Eddie Judge got married! It happened! There was even a bike artfully dangling upside down from the ceiling and everything! Because of how Eddie loves bikes! Frankly, I'll admit -- I was pretty sure when we learned that Tamra's dresses weren't going to arrive until the morning of the ceremony that the whole deal was going to devolve into tears and stabbing.

That was not the case. It was fine. All three dresses (THREE DRESSES, Y'ALL) arrived and fit her to perfection. If anything, the whole wedding weekend was so uneventful that it was almost as dull as watching a non-reality star's wedding video. Remember how Tamra was fighting with her brother last week? Well this week they made up and hugged while crying. To be fair, that could have been because they were both drinking moonshine.

One of my favorite parts of the evening was Heather Dubrow and Vicki Gunvalson wearing matching towels to get their wedding makeup done. This excited Heather so much that she trotted out of the room to get hers when she spotted Vicki. The woman literally pranced off while singing, "Then we can be Twinkies!" Pretty sure she meant twins, but hey, maybe she also really, really, likes Hostess baked goods.

There was no family drama at the ceremony. I wouldn't have been well-behaved. I would have been cackling at the officiant who I'm pretty sure had a fake British accent. I bet she has a second career as a sex therapist. She probably hosts all her sessions in a hot tub in her backyard.

Everyone cried either at the ceremony or at the reception. Somewhere a tissue mogul is twirling his mustache and cackling. All the Housewives wept too -- but out of happiness! Yes, in spite of all of Eddie's concerns, the wives were present, and they mostly behaved themselves. Did Gretchen Rossi talk during the entire ceremony? Yes. Was Lydia McLaughlin inexplicably wearing a child's floral crown purchased from Claire's? Maybe. But it was as though Tamra and Eddie's love had healing properties. Even Vicki was happy, all smoochin' up on Gretchen and what have you as Eddie and Tamra cha-cha'ed the night away.

What did you think of the big event?

' Teen Mom 3' Recap: Joey no puede manejar Katie Sexy

To is invalid
Parameter name: to

Ir a mamá!

ON todavía OH MY GOD.

'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' Mid-Season Finale Recap: Kourtney and Scott Make a Truly Disturbing Sex Tape

keeping up with the kardashiansTonight on KUWTK, Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick recreated Kris and Bruce Jenner's sex tape. It was every bit as gross as it sounds ... and then some.

Basically, the family was at dinner and somehow Kris brought up the fact that she and Bruce made a sex tape way back in the day -- you know, a casual Kardashian dinner conversation. Scott instantly was infuriated that Bruce admitted to doing something like a sex tape when he's bashed and judged Scott for doing "stupid" things for years. So how does he decide to get back at him? By recreating the sexcapade. Good one, Scott. That'll show 'em who's boss.

Kourtney and Scott took the whole project super seriously and pulled out all of the stops. They both got their hair and makeup done (Kourtney looked exactly like Kris), and Kourtney even wore her mother's lingerie. I haven't even gotten to the worst part yet. Khloe filmed and Rob directed "Backdoor Bruiser," and then they put on a screening of it for the entire family. EWW!! It was a family affair that entered a whole new level of ... yuck.

Even if the "sex tape" was just a reenactment and they didn't have actual sex on camera, what kind of daughter is okay doing that? It's so weird. I would never be comfortable even thinking about that. The mere thought of my parents doing the dirty is enough to make me want to gouge my own eyes out. How could Kourtney actually go through the motions (literally) of pretending to have sex with her stepdad, aka Scott? NO ONE DOES THAT.

I get it. The Kardashians are a tight-knit group. They do everything together, and they talk about everything, but things are just getting creepy now. There seem to be zero boundaries. Being open with your family is one thing, but going so far as pretending to be your own mother having sex with your own stepdad is completely absurd. Someone in that family needs to stop these shenanigans before another Kardashian comes out with a sex tape. This world doesn't need another one.

Do you think Kourtney was out of line for recreating the sex tape?

'Sister Wives' Recap: Kody's 'Hipster' Style is a HUGE Problem

AppId is over the quota

'Breaking Bad' Recap: Skyler Suggests the Unthinkable

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

Breaking Bad recapOn last week's Breaking Bad, we saw the world's most awkward table-side guacamole offer, Walt's jaw-dropping curveball delivered via CD, a slight-of-hand maneuver by Saul's henchman that finally opened up a world of unpleasant revelations to Jesse, and a closing scene involving a holy-shit-bad-idea-BAD-IDEA arson attack in progress.

Look how I summed up that episode without giving anything away! That's because I care about preserving your viewing experience, dammit. Tonight's Breaking Bad, titled "Rabid Dog," had an equally nebulous description: "An unusual strategy starts to bear fruit, while plans are set in motion that could change everything." Clear as mud, AMC. Let's get to the recap and find out what actually went down, shall we?

(As evidenced by the word "recap," warning: there be spoilers ahead.)

We open with Walt driving up to his house only to pull to a stop when he sees Jesse's car parked haphazardly in the driveway, the door left wide open in his haste to … well, Walt's not sure, but he soon figures it out when the reek of gasoline whaps him in the face. (Shout-out to the Breaking Bad team for including a brief foreshadowing scene of skateboarders clattering by in front of the White's house, by the way.) Walt creeps through the house looking for Jesse, but comes up empty. (Second shout-out for the kickass shot when the camera slowly pulled back down the hall from his bedroom. That shit was tense, yo.)

Walt ends up trying to force-feed a box lunch of bullshit to Walt Jr. and Skyler about how he accidentally got soaked at the gas pump, sort of like that scene in Zoolander or something, but for once Walt Jr.'s totally not buying it. "Please, can you just tell the truth?" Walt Jr. asks plaintively, and I'm like hot damn has this kid finally figured out what literally every other character knows at this point, including the baby, what with that tug-of-war fight a couple episodes ago? But no, he's just worried that Walt passed out for cancer-related reasons while filling the tank. Jesus, someone seriously needs to spell some important info out for poor innocent Walt Jr. using, like, bacon strips.

Walt sends the family to an impressively upscale hotel (for real, how big is that bedroom?) and checks in with Saul in the parking lot. Saul makes another awkward suggestion that hey, maybe murder's not such a bad option here, but instead of delicately referencing sending Jesse to Belize he compares Jesse to Old Yeller. You know: *meaningful eyebrow waggle, finger guns* Walt's furious at Saul, but his anger doesn't even touch the slow burn Skyler's got going on in her fancy suite. She's fully aware of everything that's going on, despite Walt's bizarre defense that it's totally okay that Jesse was going to burn down their house because he obviously changed his mind. No big deal! He just flew off the handle a little, heh heh.

Skyler gulps her vodka and stares holes in her husband from the bed. "Walt, you need to deal with this." What are you saying, Walt asks, aghast.

"We've come this far. For us," Skyler says. "What's one more?" Holy shit. SKYSENBERG.

Up until now it's been completely unclear why Jesse DID change his mind, but then we jump back in time to the moment when he was in the White's house and about to light the whole thing up -- when out of nowhere, Hank pops out of thin air with a gun drawn. Jesse howls that Walt can't keep getting away with this. "You really want to burn him down?" Hank says. "Let's do it together."

Hank puts Jesse in his car and they drive away literally NANOSECONDS before Walt pulls up at the end of the street and stops to stare at his driveway. Love it.

We get a brief but deeply creepy scene with Marie (wearing all black, it must be noted) talking to her therapist. It feels like something out of the Sopranos, doesn't it? But it's so incredibly weird to see a shell-shocked Marie sitting there, murmuring about the poisons she's researched. Her therapist cautions her not to fall into the trap of believing that violence can solve any of these problems. "I won't hurt anybody. But it just feels good to think about it," she says, a little dreamily.

Hank takes Jesse back to his house, where he briefly tries to convince Marie to leave for a while. I'm totally hung up on the fact that he packed her suitcases for her. Could YOUR husband pack your suitcase without the results being completely comical? Maybe it's just me. Anyway, Jesse is eventually led to the living room where Hank and Gomez are ready to tape his confession. "But it's just my word against his," Jesse protests. Hank's like, whatever, I couldn't strong-arm Skyler into doing this and I'm still pissed about it, so sit in front of the camera and talk, even though I'm pretty sure we're on all sorts of shaky legal ground here.

They ask Jesse where he first met Walter White. Jesse stumbles over his oddly respectful habit of calling him "Mr. White" before spitting out "Walter," then says one of the saddest lines in Breaking Bad history:

"He was my teacher."

Hank decides to put a wire on Jesse for the meeting Walt has requested via voicemail, which terrifies Jesse because he figures Walt has no intentions of simply talking things out. "You two guys are just guys. Mr. White, he's the devil. He's smarter than you, he's luckier than you. Whatever is supposed to happen, the exact opposite is going to happen," he says. Hank shrugs and points out that he's not brainstorming, he's issuing orders. Later, Gomez voices the concern that maybe Jesse's right, and Hank goes stony-faced: "Pinkman gets killed? We get it all on tape."

HANKSENBERG!

In the end, Jesse approaches the meeting space, wire attached and ready to go. But before he gets to Walt, Jesse spots a hitman-looking bald dude -- he looks more than a little like Mike at a glance, doesn't he? -- standing nearby, and Jesse veers off to a pay phone where he dials Walt's cell. "Nice try, asshole," he says, before saying that he's just giving Walt a heads-up to know he's coming for him. "I decided that burning down your house was nothing, next time I'm going to get you where you really live."

My first thought was that he was referencing Walt's family, but now I'm thinking it has to do with Walt's identity as Heisenberg. Jesse's going to destroy the meth empire Walt built, maybe? Or maybe he's going to get rid of Walt's money?

The final scene (as we get confirmation that the bald guy was just waiting for his kid, which felt maybe a little cheap-red-herring-y but okay FINE Breaking Bad I'll give you this one) is Jesse back in the car with Hank. "I'm thinking there's another way to get him," Jesse says, in control for the first time this season. "There's another way. A better way." Meanwhile, Walt makes a call to Todd. “I think I might have another job for your uncle,” he begins, and … end credits. DAMN.

'Real Housewives of New Jersey' Recap: Joe Giudice Admits He's Terrified To Go to Prison

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota
by Julie Ryan Evans 15 hours ago

Joe and Teresa GiudiceThe healing continued on tonight's episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. The Arizona dessert has done them all good, and they seem destined to go back to Jersey at least a little less dysfunctional than they came.

First up was horse whisperer/psychic Wyatt Webb. The cowboy with insight as deep as his drawl was a master at picking up on the issues each of them faced. Now, seeing as how their whole lives have played out on TV for years, he could have just done some serious RHONJ marathons to come to his conclusions, but he didn't seem the type. Regardless of his technique though, he did somehow draw out some deep emotions from the gang.

Rosie Pierri admitted that she often feels like she's not good enough because she isn't married with children. Al Manzo admitted he was emotionally abused as a child by his father; and Kathy Wakile admitted she puts herself last way too often. As poignant as those moments were, however, Joe Giudice's admission was by far the most shocking.

He admitted that he was worried about his upcoming trial. Once he did that, he was able to lift the horse's leg. It seemed small -- anyone would be nervous about a trial that could potentially send them to prison -- but Joe has never shown this kind of vulnerability before. Everything is usually one big expletive-filled joke with him. So it was surprising to see him show so much vulnerability.

Later when it was just him and Teresa, he expressed even more fear. He told her:

It's not like I'm a f**king criminal where I've been to f**king prison a million f**king times, ya know? I never f**king killed anybody, never did anything to f**king hurt anybody. I don't belong there and I don't wanna go there.

I've never had much, if any, sympathy for the guy, but tonight I felt some twinges of it. If he did the crime, then he needs to do the time, but it still was hard to watch that fear in him. Of course, there's also the strong possibility he was just trying to spin the story and get some sympathy while the cameras were rolling, but I felt for him regardless.

Mostly I feel for Teresa and their daughters, especially because he was just talking about the identity theft case against him at that point. This episode was filmed before the whole financial fraud case they both were charged with this summer that could send them both to prison for decades. If they were scared then, they've got to be terrified now.

Were you surprised to see Joe Giudice get so emotional? Did you feel bad for him ... even a tiny bit?

'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' Recap: Kim Kardashian Serves Placenta to Her Unsuspecting Family

Kim KardashianEww! Keeping Up With the Kardashians tonight was not for those with weak stomachs. Kim Kardashian was considering whether she would be eating the placenta when her baby was born.

Kourtney, of course, was all for it, saying she'd eat some of Kim's placenta too. She said she wanted to have a third child just so she could eat the placenta. The rest of the family -- Bruce and Kris Jenner in particular -- were grossed out by the notion.

It really bothered Kim that they weren't more open and understanding, and so she decided to teach them a lesson. The plan: She and Kourtney would order a random woman's placenta off the internet, cook it, and serve it to their unsuspecting family. Only once they gobbled it down would they reveal what they had served to them.

I was honestly open-mouthed in disgust and horror that they would actually go through with it. But there they were doing so.  Now, I know there are definitely benefits to eating one's own placenta, and I think it's great for women who want to so. But to make your family eat that of a stranger and not tell them what it really is -- well, that's just wrong.

Jonathan Cheban, Kris, Bruce all ate it and were reasonably appalled when Kourtney and Kim broke the news to them about what they had just eaten. No one wretched right there at the table, but they would have been justified in doing so. I know the family plays pranks all the time, but this just went way too far.

Fortunately, later in the show the girls revealed (at least to viewers) that it was not in fact placenta -- it was brisket. Phew! But they had yet to tell those that sampled it, so they still think they ate it, which was bad enough. Even though I was relieved to know that the whole thing wasn't quite as gross as I thought it was, it was still pretty bad.

So now, the questions we're all dying to know -- did Kim really end up eating the placenta after North was born? And perhaps, more importantly, did she give Kourtney a bite?

Do you think Kim and Kourtney's prank went too far? Would you/did you eat your own placenta?

'RHONJ' Recap: Did Teresa Giudice Imply That Jacqueline Laurita's Son's Autism Is Due to Bad Karma?

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota
by Julie Ryan Evans 10 hours ago

Jacqueline LauritaIt was off to Arizona for the entire Real Housewives of New Jersey crew this week. It was Melissa Gorga's birthday, and they were determined to celebrate, relax, and continue the healing that began after their last group getaway.

The big confrontation between Penny and Jen and Melissa last week had stirred things up a bit. The Gorgas were more wary of Teresa Giudice and her involvement in the whole mess. "Something's fishy," Joe said. Still they decided to try and see if Arizona could bring about more resolution and bonding.

For awhile it did. Rosie Pierri told Teresa she'd jump in front of a coyote for her, and they all were moved after an energy healer brought both Rich and Kathy Wakile to tears with messages from their deceased parents.

As everyone but Melissa (who was sick) was out hiking, they stopped for a ceremony in which everyone was asked to write down something they wanted to let go of and then burn it. As one by one they all wrote down something seemingly related to Teresa, I was worried it was going to get ugly then. When it was Teresa's turn, she said, "I’m just really emotional listening to everyone who had a problem with me."

I thought that was going to be the beginning of a big brawl once again, but surprisingly, instead of her usually defensive attack, she called them all up to stand with her. Then she told them she was happy with how things were going with all of them, and that she wanted to keep working on things. It was very Kumbaya.

Then she and Jacqueline stepped aside. Jacqueline had admitted how much she'd missed Teresa, and there was a hugfest coming on. Then with just a few words, Teresa put a screeching halt to the rekindling of their friendship. She said:

My thing is I never want to do anything to hurt anyone else because karma might not only come back to me but to my daughters.

Jacqueline's face froze, and previews for next week show her ranting about how Teresa was perhaps insinuating that her autistic son's problems were a result of her bad karma. Honestly, I'm not sure I would have made that leap had it not been for Jacqueline's reaction. Teresa really couldn't be that cruel, could she?

But the more I think about it, why else would she say that? We know she has a propensity for getting words and phrases wrong, but this seemed perhaps a little more well thought out. It could be one of those things that she's been dying to say, but can throw out there in this manner and claim total innocence. I can just hear her now calling Jacqueline crazy for even thinking she meant that.

I'm honestly torn here. I don't want to believe anyone would go that low, but as we've learned time and again with these ladies, you just never know.

Do you think Teresa was making a dig at Jacqueline and her son with her remark about karma affecting your children?

'Breaking Bad' Recap: Jesse Finally Knows About Walt's Most Heinous Deed

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

The last couple weeks I've been posting a Breaking Bad sneak peek/speculation post on Sunday morning, followed immediately by my recap of the actual episode that airs in the evening. This is a GREAT way to see firsthand just how terrible I am at predicting what's going to happen each week, by the way.

This morning I theorized that Skyler and Walt may be meeting with Hank -- or possibly Jesse? -- to deal with AMC's teased 'unexpected demand.' Was I even in the flipping ballpark this time? Let's get to the recap of tonight's show and find out.

(Spoilers ahead!)

There's a cold open with Todd leaving a phone message for Walt, discussing the recent "change of management" that's come about with Lydia's meth business, before bragging to his gangbanger uncle about the great train heist. Interesting stuff, but you know what, let's just fast-forward to that restaurant scene and what happened after that, because HO. LY. SHITBALLS.

It turns out that Walt and Skyler are in fact meeting with Hank and Marie for the world's most uncomfortable taqueria meal. (How hilarious was the Office Space-esque waiter who was kind of slow on the update to key in on the palpable tension at the table? "Hi! Can I start you with some margaritas and fresh-cut guacamo --- uhhhhh, you know what, I'll be back later.") Skyler and Walt ask that their family be left alone. Hank's like, not by the hairs of my chinny-chin-chin. Marie provides what I'm certain is going to be the most shocking moment of the episode (WRONG AGAIN, SELF) when she suggests that Walt should just go ahead and kill himself. Hank growls that Walt should "Step up, be a man, and admit what you did. There is no other option."

Walt sighs, pushes back his chair, and slides a DVD towards Hank. Based on an earlier scene of him talking into a camera (as Skyler frets, "Are you sure?"), it seems Hank has to be right: Walt's only possible choice here is to suck it up and admit that he is Heisenberg.

Cut to the Schraders standing in front of their home television watching Walt's confession, as the lower jaw of every single Breaking Bad viewer in the entire world hits the carpet. Walt puts on a performance of a lifetime for the camera, describing how his wicked brother-in-law forced Walt to be his chemist for the past year, and that Hank was the true meth mastermind all along. Walt is meek and believable, even haltingly describing Gus's murder from the perspective of an innocent victim dragged into a horrific mess beyond his understanding: "I guess you'd call it … a hit?" He lies that Hank took his children away, he describes being forced to provide money for Hank's rehabilitation, he weeps crocodile tears and chokes out, “I can’t take this anymore."

Goddamn. I mean, goddamn.

Back in the interrogation room scene we closed with at the end of last week's episode, Hank tells Jesse what he knows. Jesse's taken aback, but manages to dig up some classic Pinkman reserves and tell Hank "Eat me," before Saul bursts into the room, blustering about lawsuits.

Saul brings Jesse out to the desert to meet with Walt, where Jesse stares emptily at a tarantula crawling along. It's a creepy eight-legged reminder that he'll never escape the things he's seen and done.  Walt gives him a bunch of fake-warm malarkey about how Jesse should start his life over. "Maybe it's time for a change," Walt coos, in the same way he manipulated Walt Jr. into staying away from Marie because his dad's cancer is back. "I don't like to see you hurting like this."

Jesse blows the hell up, screaming that just for once, he wants Walt to tell him the truth. Tell him that if he doesn't go, Walt will kill him, just like he killed Mike. "Stop working me!" he yells, every awful moment of manipulative history between he and Mr. White echoing in his voice, and Walt slowly steps forward to embrace him. Jesse weeps brokenly (btw, ALL THE EMMYS FOR AARON PAUL. ALL OF THEM) into Walt's shoulder, but cannot respond to the hug. Jesse is mourning all the blackness Walt brought into his life, and he knows this hug isn't caring or fatherly: it's an acknowledgment of the truth of his accusations.

Jesse agrees to start his life over with the help of Saul's make-people-disappear guy. He waits on the side of the road for the pickup -- can we take a second to give major props for that amazing backdrop of concrete blocks, which feel like lonely gravestones? -- and starts patting himself looking for the dope he'd pocketed back in Saul's office. It's gone. He realizes that Saul's bodyguard, Huell of the truly odd-shaped skull, had snagged his dope back in Saul's office. From there, it dawns on him that it's not the first time Huell has picked his pockets, he'd done it before … when he took the ricin cigarette. I hate to criticize anything about this show, but it does feel like kind of a not-fully-believable jump on Jesse's part to suddenly figure out that Walt poisoned Brock, but whatever, the point is he now knows and he's fucking PISSED.

Jesse storms back to Saul's office, beats him bloody, and gets the most important confession of all: yes, Walt lied to Jesse and told him it was Gus Fring who tried to kill Brock with the ricin. (Of course, we know that Walt actually poisoned Brock with a lily of the valley plant, and the ricin cigarette is hidden behind an electrical outlet in his bedroom.)

In the final scene, Jesse -- having finally completely traded that shell-shocked pit of despair he'd been falling even deeper into for a white-hot suicidal rage -- kicks in the White's door and starts spilling gasoline all over the house. Ohhhhhh, Jesse. I guess it was too much to hope that you were really going to escape to Alaska. JUNEAU, BITCH!

What did you think of tonight's show? Did you think it was believable, the way Jesse figured out the ricin/Brock business?

rhomWhat’s the worst crime in Real Housewives land? It's either stealing money or stealing the spotlight. As one who has teetered on those uneven stilettos for years, I can tell you that while swiping money might land you an indictment, on reality TV, stealing someone's thunder carries the death penalty. Let me break down the biggest offenders on this week's Real Housewives of Miami.

We see bridezilla number one, Joanna Krupa, struggling over her fiancé’s desire for a prenuptial agreement, which begs the question, are they so wrong? Should Romain stipulate that Joanna’s sister Marta can’t come near the wedding?

Bridezilla number two, Adriana de Moura, sticks to her story that she’s not really married -- damn the legalities!! Does that mean we can all deny we’re married if we have fights with our husbands? In any case, throwing a wedding makes for great reality television.

Finally, this week we blow the roof off cast member storylines. Every season, the ladies of each city compete for the biggest, best, most dramatic personal lives. But I'm here to tell you that what we see on the screen doesn’t dovetail with actual reality. Watch my exclusive video here for all the details and answers to your Twitter questions!

Who do you think brings the most drama on RHOM?
