Robert Pattinson's 'Meet the Parents' Talk With Sean Penn Was No Joke

When news broke that Robert Pattinson might be hooking up with Dylan Penn, daughter of Sean and Robin (Wright, formerly Wright Penn), it didn't really seem like anything to take THAT seriously. After all, RPattz was also supposedly seeing Riley Keough, and possibly his trainer, perhaps some mystery chick, and who knows who else! But the latest development, according to UK publication Metro, seems to make a serious case that the two are already an item. ("Roblyn," anyone?)

Apparently, Sean Penn chatted with Rob and made it clear how he feels about the actor spending time with his 22-year-old daughter.

A source elaborated to The Sun, "Rob and Dylan get on well and really fancy one another. It's obvious Dylan is smitten. But Sean had a chat with Rob recently. Sean knows what it’s like to be a young, successful actor and the beautiful women that come with it. He gave his piece about not getting too heavy with his daughter if he’s playing the field, as he doesn’t want to see her hurt."

Aww! While Sean has quite the reputation for requiring extra support in the anger management department, and I'd usually fear he'd take a chit-chat with his daughter's beau one -- or several -- steps too far, this is actually kinda sweet ... I get the feeling that if this did happen as reported, a) Sean probably wasn't a total jerk with Rob. After all, he probably sees a little (or a lot) of himself in Rob, having been a hot young movie star in Hollywood in the '80s. And b) Roblyn must be happening, because why else would Sean feel it necessary to talk to Rob, and vice-versa?

As for Sean's supposed fears ... Eh, I feel like Rob isn't at all the "bad boy" Sean was and, with Kristen, proved he's capable of being in the spotlight and a committed relationship at the same time. Uh oh. Speaking of which, how much you wanna bet we're sure to hear new rumors about Kristen Stewart being devastated by Rob's increasingly serious romance with Dylan any minute now!?

Dylan Penn: 5 Things About Robert Pattinson's New Rumored Girlfriend

Now that we know who Robert Pattinson’s latest rumored girlfriend is, I think it’s time we got to know her a little. Don’t you think? Pull up a chair. Let us dish on the lovely Dylan Penn. We already know she’s the daughter of Robin Wright and Sean Penn. Lucky for her she seems to take after her mother more than her dad. But what else does she have going on? We scrape the bowels of the Internet to find out.

1. Dylan is 22 years old.

2. She’s a model. Dylan is working with DT Model Management, which also represents Paris Hilton. Google image Dylan Penn and you'll see some of her work.

3. Dylan is 5'7" and has green eyes. Rob looks tiny on film (is it just me?) but he's actually 6'1", so it looks like they're a pretty good height match. Kristen Stewart is 5'5". Alas, 5'7" is a bit short for a model, even nowadays.

4. Dylan has a brother named Hopper. He got into hot water earlier this year for lashing out at the paparazzi.

5. Here's Dylan Penn as a baby. Daww.

And that’s about all we could find so far. With parents as colorful as Dylan has, you’d think she might have a spunky personality, too. I mean, Robin seems pretty cool, but man, Sean Penn has quite the outsized personality. We hope she’s got more going on than what we know so far -- she’ll need it if she wants to keep Rob’s interest! Of course, now that we know who Dylan is, I bet we’re going to see Rob with yet another new girl. How much you want to bet it’ll be someone else next week? Oh well, sucks to be Pattinson.

Robert Pattinson's Hoarding Problem Is an Unfortunate Shame

Huh. Well that's kind of odd. Apparently Robert Pattinson has 1,000 suits hanging in a storage unit -- and admits that he's got some sort of a hoarding problem when it comes to business attire.

He says that once in a while, he'll give them to one of his friends, but most of the time, he keeps them because he "finds it really difficult to give things away." (There's a great opportunity for a KStew joke here, but I think I'll just leave it alone.)

Supposedly he can't stand donning a suit more than once, which is why he has so many -- but don't you wish he would get over it and change his mind?!?

I mean, he has all those beautiful, sleek jackets and ties wasting all that space in his storage unit. Why the hell doesn't he put them to good use instead of treating them like used goods? (Again -- insert KStew joke here.)

You can't argue with the fact that Rob's an incredibly good looking guy, but his choice of wardrobe most days of the week doesn't exactly do him justice. There's really no polite way of saying it -- he dresses like a homeless person.

Take a long, hard look at how handsome he looks in the photo above (all sorts of Christian Grey-like), and then compare it to his "regular" attire. Tell me which dude you'd rather jump all over.

Duh. The guy in the suit. (And if not well, to each his own, I guess.)

Ok, so I know getting all dressed up every day isn't exactly normal for anyone, but considering how nicely he cleans up, it would be a total plus if Rob at least wore each one of his suits twice before adding them to his stash. It's really just such a shame to let them collect all that dust when they could be giving us all a much needed dose of eye candy like we deserve.

Robert Pattinson may claim that he's not worried about a thing these days, but his actions tell another story. The Twilight star was left reeling after he split with longtime girlfriend Kristen Stewart. Their relationship wasn't without its fair share of bumps (some of which Kristen made up against director Rupert Sanders), but that doesn't mean its ending was any easier.

Kristen basically fled the country to escape their breakup by going to shoot a movie in Berlin. Rob's tried other tactics. He's shot a high-profile campaign for Dior and he is slated to star in a biopic about James Dean (me-ow)! On top of all of that, he's also recently bought his own home.

Telling a reporter that he's not worrying about anything and "going with the flow," Rob has been pouring his energy into working on his new house. Funny, for a guy without a care in the world, a little household DIY seems like the perfect way to distract yourself from your real world problems.

It's almost as if Rob can't sit still. He's talked about wanting to take on more physical acting roles. It sounds like he's got a lot of nervous energy to burn. That isn't the usual mindset of a man who is floating through life without a care in the world.

Robert Pattinson’s Post-Breakup Rule Is Great Advice for Everyone

Are you still obsessed with Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart's breakup? Well, I have some new scoop for you! According to a friend of Kristen's, Robert cut off all communication with Kristen after their split so they could both move on and why is this even news? It would be news if we found out Rob was calling up Kristen every day to make sure she was all right after dumping her. Or if he were calling her and then just weeping softly, unable to say a word. Or if he stood outside her house holding a boombox playing "In Your Eyes" because then we'd all want to find out where he'd gotten a working 1990s vintage boombox. But I digress. Isn't cutting yourself off from your ex standard operating procedure for everyone?

Here's the quote from Kristen's friend.

It was Rob’s decision that the two of them not communicate for a while. Rob felt like it was just too difficult for the two of them to move on if they kept in contact. They both want to be able to talk one day, but it’s still too soon and there are too many raw emotions from both sides involved.

Rob was in no way nasty about it. He actually thought he was helping Kristen by setting this boundary of no communication — that it would actually speed up the recovery process.

Rob was SUPER NICE about cutting Kristen off, I'm sure. No, but seriously, he's right of course. That usually is the kindest, most humane way to handle a breakup. Tough Love! Cold Turkey! Other Cliche! Keeping in contact just drags out the drama, when what you both need most is to just retreat to your own corners, lick your wounds, and look forward to whatever comes next.

You know what? Maybe Robert Pattinson should write a breakup advice book. I'm thinking something like How to Break Up With Your Movie Star Girlfriend After She Cheats On You With Her Director. Or A Hot Man's Guide to Breaking Up With the Girl Who Treated Your Heart Like Monkey Meat. Or 7 Habits of Highly-Effective Breaker-Uppers.

Robert Pattinson: Relationship guru. Can we please get this guy a show on OWN? I would get cable TV for that. Oh yeah, I was going to add another bit about how Rob still loves Kristen, you know, in a platonic way, wishes her well and all that crap. Does it even matter? They both just needed to moveondotorg, and they did. Good for them.

Robert Pattinson's Steamy Kisses With Beautiful Dior Ad Blonde Must Hurt Kristen Stewart

All summer long people have been talking about Robert Pattinson's Dior ad. Are they sitting around rapturously discussing the fashion powerhouse? No, of course not. Why do that when you can speculate about the fantasy relationship Pattinson might have with the campaign's costar, model Camille Rowe?

Confession: I maybe first misread the pairing as being "Rob and Camilla" and did a double-take thinking someone was spreading rumors about Pattinson and the Prince of Wales' wife. Thankfully, that is not the case. The blonde in question is not the much-older royal, but a spunky young thing who's got scads of chemistry with Rob -- in front of the camera and behind it, if you believe the buzz.

Kristen Stewart, are you reading this?

Yes, the duo smooched big time during the campaign. They also did more racy stuff like blow cigarette smoke into each other's mouths and frolic in a pool.

But the real story isn't high fashion's idea of sexiness, it's about how well Camille and Rob got along behind the scenes.

The couple were apparently very comfortable with each other, which might be telling since the shoot is coming not long after Rob split with Kristen. Though no one's come forward to proclaim Rob and Camille a couple, given their cozy, laid-back interactions, it wouldn't be a surprise to anyone if they did hook up, would it? Plus, Rob really liked that Camille wasn't thrown by his star status. It's got to be a very welcome change.

Then again, every time Rob is spotted with a new "mystery" woman -- any woman whatsoever -- he is linked to her romantically, to the point where it's just getting silly. This could very well be more of the same.

Either way, it has to pain Kristen that her ex is getting along so well and has such smoldering chemistry -- on- and off-screen -- with another girl, a blond supermodel who looks nothing like her, no less. Ouch.

You guyyyssss! He may be a major Hollywood hottie who's all kinds of sexy and mysterious -- but after hearing that Robert Pattinson visited the Children's Hospital in Los Angeles to brighten the day for some young fans, it's impossible not to be even more crazy about him.

He went to the hospital and surprised the patients by doing arts and crafts with them (OMG, he's crafty), and he also signed autographs and took pics with the kids.

And now we're all wondering where in the heck he's been hiding this softer, more human side of himself (no vampire pun intended.)

Even though many of us love and adore Rob, he does tend to come off as a bit standoffish and cold at times when he's out and about in public. He seems like the type who keeps to himself and doesn't like to put too much of his private life on display -- but who knew he had such a kind, selfless, caring personality underneath his stunning good looks?!?

He really needs to think about letting this side come out a little more often -- not that we actually need a reason to adore him anymore than we already do.

Can you even imagine how thrilled those children must have been? And it's not like he's some random celebrity they've never heard of -- he's like, a really, really big deal.

Hmm. I hate to say it, but maybe breaking up with Kristen Stewart was the best thing that ever happened to Rob, especially if being on his own somehow prompted him to make such a thoughtful gesture towards those kids.

(Keep it up, Rob. The whole do-gooder thing really looks good on you.)

Remember that Dior ad Robert Pattinson appears in, the one that's been teased all summer long? The one that was supposed to come out last month or something, but all we got so far are a bunch of stills? WELL! That damn ad is still not out yet. But -- we are being treated to a trailer of Robert Pattinson's Dior Homme ad. You wanna see it, right? Sit. Down. Now. I am going to show it to you.

I don't think we're ready for the sexy sexiness of this sexy ad. I DON'T THINK WE ARE. That's why Dior still hasn't released it to the public -- because we are simply not ready for the heat and perversity they desperately want to unleash upon us. That is why we've been getting nothing but crumbs -- until now. Witness -- MOAR stills of the Robert Pattinson Dior ad, but this time in this old-timey Steampunk-style slideshow format. Did I mention edgy (well, kind of establishment at this point, really) photographer Nan Goldin took these shots? Those of you with delicate sensibilities may want to hide your eyes.

Yeah, I know. I was kind of hoping for more, too.

You guys. Who makes a trailer for a commercial? A COMMERCIAL. Christsake, this is what we're doing now? We're making trailers for ads? This is almost as disturbing as sea waters rising, melting polar ice caps, that big swirling pile of plastic bags in the middle of the ocean. Bring on the four horsemen of the apocalypse, we're done here. Unless Dior can promise me we'll see the final ad at last the week after Labor Day? Come on, guys, how much longer can you drag this thing out?

Sooooo ... let's check in with Robert Pattinson, shall we? What's ol' vampire pants up to? Rumor has it that Bachelor Rob has rented a swanky bachelor pad in the Beverly Hills. And he's hangin' wit' a new crew. A new crew that contains The O.C. alum Mischa Barton. Oh, and apparently The Fast & the Furious gal Michelle Rodriguez. Hangin' with some hot ladies. In his "sparsely furnished" five-bedroom bachelor pad. That's enough bedrooms for his lady crew. But is he rolling around in them?

Wellllzzzz ... a pal tells E! News that Rob isn't bunking down just yet. Says the source:

He does not seem particularly eager to get a new girlfriend quite yet. He's just taking each day as it comes and having fun.

Hmmm .... "having fun" could mean so many things!

I'll just name drop here for a sec and say I've seen Mischa Barton in person. She is one of the most stunning women I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot of stunning women. She is one of the few celebs that you see in person and think they look better than they do on the screen.

So Rob is hangin' with one smoking lady. But here's what I think is going down (so to speak). Nothing. Maybe he's hooking up with Riley Keough, maybe not. Maybe he's hooking up with Katy Perry, maybe not. Maybe Mischa, maybe not.

I say not. I say the man is hurting! He's heartbroken! I mean, he was just spotted at Kristen's house a couple of weeks ago. Was he grabbing what's left of his stuff? Is he stalking her? Or are they doing the on-off thing? Did he momentarily forget where he lived?

Yeah, I'm probably being naive. He's a young, handsome dude and women must be all over him. He's probably taking advantage of that.

But it's not making him happy! Because he and Kristen are soooooooul mates. Sorry, Mischa. (And Katy, and Riley, and ... )
