Robert Pattinson Is Thinking of Doing Something Awful to Prepare for 'Intimate Scenes'

Robert Pattinson doesn't like what he sees when he looks in the mirror. And that's a damn shame, because most people would love to see Robert Pattinson when they looked in the mirror. And when they opened their eyes in the morning. And when they were about to go to sleep at night. The actor recently admitted to feeling like he needs to get a "six-pack," because he has numerous sex scenes in an upcoming movie. "I think I don't get some jobs because I don't go to the gym. I am literally the only actor in LA who doesn't have a six-pack," Pattinson said. "Although I am going to have to change that. In my next film I have like three intimate scenes so I am literally thinking of those to get in shape."

And to that we say nooooooo! We love your scrawny, pasty ass, Rob! And your abs! Or lack thereof!

There are reasons beyond his boyish good looks as to why the world collectively wants to carve their initials next to Rob's in a tree. He's smart. He's funny. He's self-depricating. He's cool. He's talented. And he's confident enough to know that he has much more to offer than big, bulging muscles. I understand that Rob's first and foremost an actor, and if a role calls for muscles, muscles it is. But don't we all like Roberto as is? Truth be told, I don't want to see him with a six-pack. (Okay, fine, I guess I'd live through the horror of seeing it.)

As long as Rob's bulking up for a role and not, say, to show a certain pouty brunette what she's missing, that's okay. In fact, it's kinda hot. He's so dedicated to his craft, you guys. But when he's finished filming, let's hope he goes back to his regular, non-six pack-having-self. I mean, seriously, what's sexier than a dude who's too busy doing stuff like reading to work out?

Quick Thinking 6-Year-Old Saves Baby From Drowning (VIDEO)

Swimmers at a marina in Crosby, Texas were faced with a terrifying scene on Saturday night when a 6-year-old boy pulled a 1-year-old from the water after he'd fallen off a stationary floating raft in the river.

As you'll hear him explain in the video below, K'Xavier McCullough saw what he describes as a "white bump" lying in the water, and when he went over to it he realized it was a small child. He immediately brought the baby to the surface.

The 1-year-old was then pulled to shore and an adult nearby performed CPR while someone else called 911.

Wow. That little boy deserves some sort of medal for sure. He could've easily panicked and started screaming when he saw that baby in the water, but instead, he sprung into action and is likely responsible for saving the child's life.

It's horrible to think about what might have happened if K'Xavier hadn't been nearby -- and this story just goes to show that accidents can happen in the water at any moment even if there are plenty of people around. And even though a stationary raft probably isn't the safest place for a 1-year-old, making us wonder where the parents were -- it's impossible to know what exactly happened that led to the child winding up in the water -- and almost drowning. We have to assume they are thankful and relieved that someone saw what happened and came to their baby's aid.

And luckily K'Xavier seemed to know exactly what to do -- and boy, his parents must be so proud of him for being so brave and doing what he thought was right. That's pretty much all any of us can hope our kids will do if they are faced with a scary situation, right?

Sooooo ... let's check in with Robert Pattinson, shall we? What's ol' vampire pants up to? Rumor has it that Bachelor Rob has rented a swanky bachelor pad in the Beverly Hills. And he's hangin' wit' a new crew. A new crew that contains The O.C. alum Mischa Barton. Oh, and apparently The Fast & the Furious gal Michelle Rodriguez. Hangin' with some hot ladies. In his "sparsely furnished" five-bedroom bachelor pad. That's enough bedrooms for his lady crew. But is he rolling around in them?

Wellllzzzz ... a pal tells E! News that Rob isn't bunking down just yet. Says the source:

He does not seem particularly eager to get a new girlfriend quite yet. He's just taking each day as it comes and having fun.

Hmmm .... "having fun" could mean so many things!

I'll just name drop here for a sec and say I've seen Mischa Barton in person. She is one of the most stunning women I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot of stunning women. She is one of the few celebs that you see in person and think they look better than they do on the screen.

So Rob is hangin' with one smoking lady. But here's what I think is going down (so to speak). Nothing. Maybe he's hooking up with Riley Keough, maybe not. Maybe he's hooking up with Katy Perry, maybe not. Maybe Mischa, maybe not.

I say not. I say the man is hurting! He's heartbroken! I mean, he was just spotted at Kristen's house a couple of weeks ago. Was he grabbing what's left of his stuff? Is he stalking her? Or are they doing the on-off thing? Did he momentarily forget where he lived?

Yeah, I'm probably being naive. He's a young, handsome dude and women must be all over him. He's probably taking advantage of that.

But it's not making him happy! Because he and Kristen are soooooooul mates. Sorry, Mischa. (And Katy, and Riley, and ... )
