I'm going to be honest here. In the past, when I've heard the words "theme" and "wedding" together in one sentence, I died a little inside. Something about a themed wedding just seems kind of wrong. But when I saw Teen Mom Kailyn Lowry's positively adorable Under the Sea themed wedding ceremony, I ate my words. Put a little salad dressing on them and ate them right up. And let me tell you: They were bitter going down.

Kailyn shared some super cute snaps of her recent ceremony to Javi Marroquin, and the whole day looks unbelievable (but, let's be honest here, her son, Isaac, in a tux steals the show). The lighting is low; the colors are gorgeous; and, well, for a wedding with a theme, it looks pretty classy.

But here's what I love best about this: Kailyn couldn't look happier. There she is, grinning from ear to ear, pregnant as all get out, arm full of tattoos, not caring what anyone thinks. That's what's most beautiful about this day. She decided to say "screw it" to tradition and did things exactly the way she wanted. I admire that.

But not as much as I admire this photo of Isaac. Good god, does this kid know how to wear a tux. Congrats, Kailyn and Javi!

Gorgeous Checkerboard Cake Recipe Will Impress Everyone You Know

Want to make a dessert that will really blow your friends away at the next party you attend? Then you should seriously consider trying your hand at this gorgeous Checkerboard Cake recipe from Betty Crocker.

OMG. Is this cake exquisite or what? Sure, it requires a little more effort than simply throwing a boxed cake together and slapping some frosting on it, but when people get a load of this thing, you'll be the envy of the entire neighborhood for sure.

Just think of how much fun it will be when you slice this cake open to reveal such a detailed surprise in the middle. Everyone will assume you slaved over it for days -- and maybe, just maybe, it will get you out of cleanup duty after the festivities.

Checkerboard Cake (slightly adapted from Betty Crocker)

1 box yellow cake mix

1 cup milk

1 package (3 oz.) cream cheese, softened

1 teaspoon vanilla

3 eggs

1/4 cup unsweetened baking cocoa

1 container of frosting -- you can use either chocolate or vanilla

Directions:

Heat oven to 350ºF. Grease and lightly flour bottoms and sides of three 9-inch round pans of checkerboard cake set. Place divider ring in one of the pans, following manufacturer’s directions.

In medium bowl, beat cake mix, milk, cream cheese, vanilla, and eggs with electric mixer on low speed 30 seconds, scraping bowl constantly, then on medium speed 2 minutes. Divide batter in half; stir cocoa into half of the batter.

Spoon batter into each pan and using divider ring, following manufacturer's directions.

Bake 18 to 26 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes. Loosen side of each cake from pan with metal spatula; turn upside down onto cooling rack. Cool completely, about 1 hour.

Using a thin layer of frosting between layers, stack cake layers so outside colors of cake alternate. Place cake on serving plate; frost side and top of cake with frosting. Store loosely covered.

Garnish with fresh berries for an extra pop of color if desired.

Julianne Hough Looks So Gorgeous After Working Out It Just Isn't Fair (PHOTO)

Sigh. Check out just how put together and perfect Julianne Hough looks after working out. She's not the least bit sweaty (from what we can tell). Her hair is pulled back and casual -- but it still looks cute and doesn't even come close to resembling a post-exercise bird's nest.

And how about those trendy sunglasses she's wearing? Do they scream movie star or what? Paired with her sleek, black workout gear, she looks like she just stepped out of the pages of a fitness magazine. Oh, and another thing -- as if she didn't already have an amazing body, sticking to wearing all black makes her look even thinner than she already is.

Are you jealous yet? You should be.

I mean, come on -- have you ever looked that good after a workout? I know I sure haven't. Usually when I get done hitting the gym, I'm nothing short of a hot mess. Usually my hair is matted to my head, I've got a serious case of boob sweat seeping through the front of my shirt, and I'm so flushed and out of breath that you'd probably think I was having a heart attack if I weren't walking out of a fitness center.

I know Julianne is a dancer by trade so she's used to vigorous exercise, but it's still pretty amazing that she looks this polished. Hmm. Just to make ourselves feel better, let's go ahead and assume that she showered, blow-dried her hair, threw on a little tinted moisturizer to give her skin a nice, healthy glow, and changed into a fresh pair of workout clothes before this photo was taken.

Any scenario other than that really just isn't fair.

Sooooo ... let's check in with Robert Pattinson, shall we? What's ol' vampire pants up to? Rumor has it that Bachelor Rob has rented a swanky bachelor pad in the Beverly Hills. And he's hangin' wit' a new crew. A new crew that contains The O.C. alum Mischa Barton. Oh, and apparently The Fast & the Furious gal Michelle Rodriguez. Hangin' with some hot ladies. In his "sparsely furnished" five-bedroom bachelor pad. That's enough bedrooms for his lady crew. But is he rolling around in them?

Wellllzzzz ... a pal tells E! News that Rob isn't bunking down just yet. Says the source:

He does not seem particularly eager to get a new girlfriend quite yet. He's just taking each day as it comes and having fun.

Hmmm .... "having fun" could mean so many things!

I'll just name drop here for a sec and say I've seen Mischa Barton in person. She is one of the most stunning women I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot of stunning women. She is one of the few celebs that you see in person and think they look better than they do on the screen.

So Rob is hangin' with one smoking lady. But here's what I think is going down (so to speak). Nothing. Maybe he's hooking up with Riley Keough, maybe not. Maybe he's hooking up with Katy Perry, maybe not. Maybe Mischa, maybe not.

I say not. I say the man is hurting! He's heartbroken! I mean, he was just spotted at Kristen's house a couple of weeks ago. Was he grabbing what's left of his stuff? Is he stalking her? Or are they doing the on-off thing? Did he momentarily forget where he lived?

Yeah, I'm probably being naive. He's a young, handsome dude and women must be all over him. He's probably taking advantage of that.

But it's not making him happy! Because he and Kristen are soooooooul mates. Sorry, Mischa. (And Katy, and Riley, and ... )

Penelope Cruz Gives Baby Gorgeous Name With Hauntingly Beautiful Meaning

Remember that time Penelope Cruz gave birth to a baby girl the same day Kate Middleton gave birth to a baby boy? That was awesome! Two celeb births in one day, one of which we had no clue about! And while the world has had their collective eye zeroed in on Kate and baby George Alexander Louis, Penelope has been basking in some much-loved private time with her daughter.

Oh, and hey, did you hear? Penelope picked a name for her baby! And it's absolutely, positively awesome.

Keeping things in the two-syllable "L" family, Penelope and husband Javier Bardem decided to name their baby girl Luna, which means "moon" in Spanish. Love it. Love the name, love the meaning, and love that it goes perfectly with big brother's name, which is Leo. Luna and Leo. Doesn't get much more adorable than that.

The babe's full name is Luna Encinas Cruz, being that Encinas is Bardem's paternal surname. What a beautiful name for what's sure to be a beautiful baby. Can't wait to get a glimpse of that cutie. And can't wait to start hearing about all how, suddenly, "Luna" has moved up 900 spaces on the popular baby name list. That is one lovely name, and others are sure to follow suit.
