Refusing to initiate is a Top Three reason men cheat. The ugliest girl in the world could come on to a man in that state of mind, and he might have to go for it. He thinks, At least someone wants me.

smart babyIf you're like me, when you get the list of classmates for your child's school year, it's a big deal. You look through it for anyone they might know, and then you look at the other children's names and start imagining the children to whom they belong.

Some names sound fun (Trixie, for example), and some sound like they belong to troublemakers (Harley, perhaps), and I wonder which ones will soon become names I hear each day as my children befriend them. Most of all, though, some names just sound smart. I imagine these kids being the brainy ones who will have their hands in the air with all the answers and soar to the top of the class.

Of course, I'm usually completely off base when I actually meet the children who are nothing like I imagined them based on their names alone. Still, names do deliver a first impression, whether on a preschool classroom roster or on a resume when looking for a job. If you want a smart-sounding name for your child, then here are 30 to consider.

2 Dead After OD'ing on 'Molly,' Showing It’s More Dangerous Than Miley Cyrus Makes It Sound

Molly MDMADid you hear the news? Two concert-goers died last weekend. Two young adults by the names of Jeff Russ, 23, and Olivia Rotondo, 22. Not because of some raging stampede at the Electric Zoo electronic music festival over on Randall's Island, which they had probably both been looking forward to for months. But because they took some bad MDMA -- a crazy powerful form of Ecstasy that many people know as Molly (thanks, Miley).

Well I'm here to tell you that this bullshit needs to stop. I've seen the rants on Facebook from people who were planning on attending Sunday's concert, complaining that two people ruined the party for thousands. Get a grip, people. This is bigger than one day of music.

Molly is NOT a joke. It's not something that we should be OK with celebrities "casually" listing off in their songs. If we don't take this fad drug seriously, these two highly talked about overdoses will be just the tip of the iceberg of what's to come.

People take Molly because they want to "let loose" and have a good time. People take Molly because other people are taking Molly. They take it because it seems like the cool thing to do at some sort of music festival just like Electric Zoo. But are the same people that are handing out these pills talking about the potential side effects? Ha. No. They're talking about the carazzayyyyyy trip the user's gonna have. Idiots.

Well let's talk facts. MDMA increases the activity of three neurotransmitters in the brain: serotonin, dopamine, and norephinephrine. It generally makes users feel hyped up, pretty emotional, and euphoric for about three to six hours. Side effects? Sharp frightening elevations in blood pressure and body temperature, intractable seizures, and cardiac arrhythmia. In short: This is some dangerous shit. There's no "safe" way to pop Molly. And whether you're just "trying it" for the first time or a Molly veteran, you have just as much of a chance of ending up like these Zoo-goers.

My stance: Feeling "euphoric" for a little while is in no way worth risking your life. From 2004 to 2008, there was a 74.8 percent increase in MDMA-related visits to the ER. Today? I can't even IMAGINE what kind of skyrocketing numbers are happening. Yeah yeah yeah, anyone could have their life cut short doing everyday things like driving or even walking down the street. But users have gotta be really blind if they think that trying Molly is "no big deal."

Do you agree?

Ian Somerhalder Drops Hints That Sound Like He's Still Not Over Nina Dobrev

ian somerhalder nina dobrevWhether or not he's destined to be our Christian Grey in the upcoming Fifty Shades flick, Ian Somerhalder still holds the key to many female fans' hearts ... But who holds the key to his? If a recent tweet is any indication, it sounds like that honor may still go to on-again, off-again GF and co-star Nina Dobrev.

Back from a hiatus and filming Vampire Diaries again, Ian tweeted, "Do what love-love what you do.At work by dreaded 6:30AM,like many... Love these damn people. #TVD cast&cree truly amazing people." Okay, okay, so he didn't outright say he loves NINA specifically! But he has been pontificating about how much his character Damon loves her character Elena, and thus, it's not completely nutso to read between the lines here, right?

Of his character's romance, Ian said:

[Damon] got the girl, at a great expense. It's gotta be so strange for this guy. He was so in love with Katherine for so many years, working off the naivety of a 23-year-old man. To be in love with this woman who really broke your heart, and then all of a sudden to find a woman who is identical in every way, shape, and form, who is 160 years his junior.

Again, not screaming from the rooftops that he's hopelessly devoted to Nina off-screen as much as on ... And given that she recently posted a pic on Instagram that had us wondering if she's still bitter about their breakup, I woudn't bet on them being an item again just yet. But there are likely still feelings there, and given how closely they have to work together on this upcoming season of Vampire Diaries, I wouldn't be surprised if they end up declaring their undying love for one another all over again!

Do you think Ian's dropping hints that he's not over Nina?

Stephen Moyer in 'Sound of Music' Lead Role Will Be Bloody Amazing

stephen moyerSexy True Blood star Stephen Moyer's next gig is a serious departure from seducing humans for their blood in Bon Temps. He's going to play the decorated World War I hero, Captain Von Trapp, in the upcoming live TV production of The Sound of Music, set to air on December 5.

He joins Carrie Underwood, already cast as Maria, who the world remembers best as being portrayed by Julie Andrews ... But it sounds like this production may have promise, too. Especially now that Stephen's onboard!

He's actually perfect for the part.

Stephen recently starred as the charismatic lawyer Billy Flynn in the Hollywood Bowl's production of Chicago. He's also been acting on stage since the early days of his career in the U.K.at the National Theatre of Wales, the Royal Shakespeare Company, the Oxford Stage Company and the Young Vic.

While we may best recall the 1965 film version, which featured Christopher Plummer as Von Trapp, the Hollywood Reporter notes that the three-hour production is based on the original 1959 Broadway production of The Sound of Music, which starred Mary Martin and Theodore Bikel. While Bikel is a legend and his acclaimed 1959 production wracked up Tonys galore -- including best musical -- I'm sure he never portrayed a seductive, shirtless vampire, amirite?! That fact alone is sure to Stephen, Carrie, and company a leg up in the ratings!

What do you think of Stephen Moyer as Capt. Von Trapp?
