I love a good military homecoming video. Who doesn't (no, really, who?)? But I've always wondered how it is that these moms and dads manage to keep themselves from blowing the surprise. If it were me just home from war, I don't know that I could contain myself. That's what I really love about the latest military mom surprising her kid at a football game.

Capt. JR Lund came home early from Afghanistan. She didn't tell her 13-year-old daughter ... so she could manage to surprise her at Saturday's Wisconsin vs. Purdue game. But from the looks of it, Mom almost didn't make it to the game!

Aww! Did you catch the part about how Mom just wanted to go run over and grab her daughter ... but she was trying her darndest to rein it in so she could make the surprise even more meaningful? She almost ruined her own surprise! Maybe it's because she's an Army Reservist that JR Lund is so much stronger than the rest of us?

Or at least stronger than me?

I don't know that I could do it. If I'm away from my kid just for a few days for a business trip, I come home and it's all I can do not to smother the poor thing with love and attention!

Not that JR Lund's daughter isn't getting plenty of that -- did you see the look on mother's and daughter's faces when they finally DID see each other?

Would you be able to hold out to surprise your kid or would you ruin your own surprise?

One of the hardest things about military deployments for a soldier is missing out on life's events back at home, big and small. When a military dad is away, he can't just put his oldest daughter's first day of school on hold or ask her dance instructor to postpone her big recital. Which is why reuniting with loved ones and catching up on absolutely everything that's happened is one of life's greatest joys for those in our military.

Take John, for instance. This military dad was stationed overseas in Afghanistan since May, and he recently gave his daughter Juliana a major surprise at school showing up after months away. Their reunion is absolutely adorable! Just you wait until you hear the one thing he notices about his daughter when he first looks at her:

A tooth! It's crazy to think that something as teeny as losing a tooth could be such a big deal to both daughter and father, but that's just one example of a life event that happens while dads, brothers, relatives, and friends are away serving our country. It's so heartwarming to see this father back with his daughter. And that hug? Ugh! The best.

I hope that now this duo's back together, they take this much-needed time to catch up on all the other important stuff (big and small). Welcome home!

Father's Heartbreaking Reunion With Toddler Son He Thought Dead Will Make You Weep With Joy (VIDEO)

As worried as we all get about our children, most of us have it damn good compared to living in a war-torn country. Parents in Syria are going through hell right now, as reports have it that innocent women and children were recently killed with a nerve gas attack by the government. One young Syrian dad thought his toddler son had died in the horrific attack. But it turned out he was alive -- and well. The reaction when he's reunited with his little boy for the first time after thinking he'd lost him is one that will make parents weep.

The video was reportedly filmed in the Damascus suburb of Zamalka, where up to 1,700 people were reportedly gassed last week. Pictures of children laid out dead under sheets were all over the news. It's a horrific and tragic scenario over there.

But one little boy beat the odds. He was found alive. And when his father sees him for the first time, it's indescribable. The video was uploaded to YouTube and has since gone viral.

It starts off with what looks like a relative of the boy tearfully taking him from another man's arms as he sees he is okay. He hugs him fiercely, crying and smiling. Other men gather around with the same tearfully joyous expression.

Then the father comes out of a nearby building. He begins screaming. At first, it's hard to tell if he's upset or happy. But it becomes apparent these are screams of joy as he grabs the child and begins hugging him. It is one of the most gut-wrenching scenes ever.

The man is so overcome that he sinks to the ground, almost fainting. At this point, some other men take the child away so the father can compose himself. They help him up from the ground, kissing and hugging him.

He is then brought into the building (a woman is now holding the child) and sat down to rest. After making sure he is okay, the child is brought over and placed on his lap.

By this point, the poor stressed child is crying, but when he sees his father, he places his arms around him. I can't even imagine what this poor boy has been through.

Soon the baby calms down and the two are embracing.

If this doesn't activate your tear ducts, get thee to a doctor, stat! No matter how you feel about what is going on over there, the reality is that humans are humans, and this little boy and his father feel everything that parents and children of Sandy Hook or the Oklahoma tornado did.

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson Reunion Doesn't Stand a Chance If She's Living With a New Man

Ever since Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson broke up, we've heard varying stories about each of them moving on with respective other people. There was KStew's rumored rebound relationship with Michael Pitt, and Rob's been linked with who knows how many other women including Elvis's granddaughter Riley Keough. Still, just as Robsten fans were holding out hope that the two were close to reuniting ... Kristen may be moving on -- and has already moved in! -- with another man. 

It's been obvious from photos on the set that Kristen gets along with her Camp X-Ray co-star Lane Garrison, but apparently they're getting along so well that they're now living together, according to a source who spoke with Yahoo! omg!.

The source explains, "Kristen was enjoying Lane's company, and he was spending a lot of time with her at her home. He doesn't live in LA so he moved out of his hotel when they became close and moved into the guest wing of her house in Los Feliz.''

So it's just the guest wing, and not her bedroom. But who knows ... Where there's smoke (or stars living in close quarters), there tends to be fire (or an AFFAIR!). And what the source had to say about Kristen's brother Cameron's take on the whole thing makes it seem like romance may be brewing ...

The insider claims, "Kristen's big brother, Cameron, has told her he's concerned about the new relationship, especially since [Lane Garrison's] recent arrest after his jail term ... But Kristen is trying to pull her life together and she's been leaning on Lane since they started filming together. She understands his past but trusts that he's changed and is really enjoying getting to know him.''

Sounds like trouble! Especially for anyone holding out for a Robsten reunion ...

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart’s Reunion: We Have the Juicy Details!

Well, it seriously looks like Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart aren't over each other yet. There was some speculation that the Twilight couple might be trying to work things out because of a pic that was snapped of Rob's car parked outside Kristen's house, and now there's even more evidence to back that story up. 

According to Hollywood Life, a source says that Rob reached out to Kristen because he needed to pick up his stuff, but that he also wanted to see her!!! If this is true, it sounds like Rob might be trying to get back together with Kristen, and the insider says that Kristen might not be over him either.

He stopped by on the weekend and they both spent some time together, catching up. Kristen was really happy to see him, but I think in the end they were both sad because they still have feelings for each other. It’s not as simple as just getting back together. Seeing each other brought up a lot stuff for both of them. For now, work -- not rebuilding a relationship -- comes first. It’s sad.

Honestly, as much as I love Rob and Kristen together, this whole will-they-won't-they thing might not be worth the emotional pain. Breaking up with someone is hard to do, and it's even harder if you keep on holding on to the idea that you're going to get back together. All I'm saying is that if they are seriously considering rekindling their romance, there's a big chance there will be more heartache to come. And do they really want to have to go through that all over again?

But who knows? Kristen and Rob might realize deep down that they're meant for each other and will eventually be a couple again. I guess I'll just have to grab my bowl of popcorn and keep on watching their on-again, off-again relationship from the sidelines.
