Cuando piensas en tecnología, generalmente no te toda llorosa. Si no has plantado cara su nuevo iPhone en la acera. No, la tecnología es fría, calculado, está lleno de multimillonarios y tipos de acerados. Pero una empresa de tecnología, Movimiento verdadero, que es el tercer mayor operador móvil de Tailandia, ha salido con un comercial que, bueno, le harán llorar como un niño maldito cuyo cachorro sólo se ha dado fuera. Gritar como si lo escucharas que tu mejor amigo se fue con su marido. Pero, bueno, mejor que eso. Como lágrimas de felicidad. Como ganaron las lágrimas Powerball. Solamente, esos tipos de lágrimas que vienen cuando está tocados por la humanidad. ¿Cómo se llaman las lágrimas? Oh diablos, no lo sé. Ya estoy rompiendo.

El video, subido a YouTube el 11 de septiembre, ya tiene más de 10 millones de vistas. 7 Millones de personas que totalmente sollozó sobre sus teclados y limpió la saliva de sus labios y el amarillo de la nariz como se levantó unos suspiros pesados y luego se preguntó por qué el infierno estoy llorando por una maldita tecnología comercial??!!!

Sí, la gente, es tan potente y eficaz. Así que utilizaré para mover cierto. Oh espera, es en Tailandia. Así que voy a Tailandia así puedo cambiarla para mover cierto.

'50 Shades of Grey' Movie Casting to Be Revealed After Labor Day!

Just when we think we know everything there is to know about the casting of the Fifty Shades movie, the damn thing wriggles out of our grasp again. We thought we finally got a handle on who was the frontrunner to play Christian Grey -- actor Charlie Hunnam, a British actor most famous for roles in Sons of Anarchy and Pacific Rim. But according to Variety, which is a pretty solid source, he was never offered the role at all. But continue your guessing game all you like, folks. Fifty fans waited an agonizingly long time for news of a screenwriter and director, and those were eventually named. And now the names of the Fifty Shades of Grey cast is not too far off. In fact, I'd mark your calendars for Labor Day!!!

Reportedly, it is after Labor Day that "official offers" will be announced. I'm guessing this means the cast will be announced, since "offers" of roles are usually not announced. The truth is that scripts are usually sent out to a large number of actors; it doesn't necessarily mean that the role will be theirs. Except for a few A-list billion-dollar box office types, actors still have to audition for a role. And in the case of Fifty Shades, the director will no doubt want to cast the Christian and Ana actors based on their chemistry together.

One guy might be just perfect for Christian; and one woman perfect for Ana. But unless they create dynamite on screen together, it's just not going to work!

Reportedly, Ian Somerhalder, Armie Hammer and Aaron Johnson (the director's husband) have all said they weren't interested in the role of Christian. And recently writer Bret Easton Ellis said that he knows that E.L. James will "never get" her first choice. (I'm in the minority here that E.L. James will have nothing to do with casting. Authors rarely do, no matter how famous.)

As for Ana, actresses Dakota Johnson (Don Johnson and Melanie Griffiths' kid); Alicia Vikander; Imogen Poots and Shailene Woodley have been mentioned. My guess is that big name actresses like Mila Kunis and Amanda Seyfried will be approached first -- that's just the way Hollywood works. And once they all turn it down, then they'll start auditioning relative unknowns.

One name that is also being associated with the flick, you may not expect: Victoria Beckham. Nooooo, she's not going to play Ana. She's reportedly in contention to design the film. I'm personally thinking a lot of leather and latex. And hopefully a cameo by David Beckham. Mmmm.

Fifty Shades must be a strange beast to cast. While it's a very popular novel and will probably be a very popular movie, and also has a respected director and screenwriter -- actors usually don't want to star in S&M films. That's just the fact. Additionally, E.L. James did not produce a work of art. Actors consider themselves artists and no one is going to be dying to be in this film like they might for, say, an adaptation of Madame Bovary. A lot -- everything, actually -- will depend on how good the script is.

So it will be with baited-breath that we wait (but not too long!) to find out who will play Christian and Anastasia.

Kids' Movie Starring Alex Rodriguez Causing Controversy Because of Steroid Scandal

Alex Rodriguez fans who were looking forward to taking their kids to see the embattled New York Yankees third baseman in a new kids' movie may never have the chance. The folks behind Henry & Me, a movie about a little boy with cancer and his magical adventure with baseball players, are debating the effect his steroids scandal could have on a flick for kids. There's talk Alex will get the axe.

As a long-time Yankees fan who has never particularly taken to A-Rod, I'm not exactly crying. But as a mother of a little baseball fan, I wonder if they aren't overreacting a tad bit.

A-Rod, of course, is currently in the midst of an appeal of Major League Baseball's 211-game suspension for alleged steroid use. He's damaged goods, and sponsors don't want to be associated with him.

But we're not talking about advertising here. We're talking about a kids' movie. The movie's executive producer, Ray Negron, has said of the threat to cut Alex from the film, "I love Alex Rodriguez, but I love kids more."

The question is, do kids even care?

I don't know that they do.

Sure, they know who Alex Rodriguez is. My daughter used to have an A-Rod jersey, and she could point him out in a lineup. Because we live in New York, most kids I know could probably do the same.

But they know about Alex Rodriguez the New York Yankee. They don't know about Alex Rodriguez the person, Alex Rodriguez, the guy who may or may not have used illegal substances.

That's the way it is with most sports stars. They know how they play. They admire how they play.

But there's a distinguishable difference between idolizing a baseball player and idolizing a person.

In general, kids know very little about players' personal lives, and they don't want to follow in their footsteps as human beings. Little New York Jets fans don't see Antonio Cromartie and think, "I want to have 12 kids, just like that guy." They see him and say, "I want to play cornerback."

Kids don't look at Michael Vick and say, "I want to go fight dogs and go to jail." They see him and say, "I want to lead the Hokies to a national championship. I want to play quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons."

So it is with Alex Rodriguez. There's been a lot of debate in recent weeks over what parents should tell their kids about A-Rod, whether they should take away their jerseys and rip down their posters, lest they follow in their "hero's" footsteps. But for kids, the steroid scandal hasn't changed things; it won't set them on a path to steroid use any more than wearing a Cromartie jersey will make them more fecund.

Quite frankly, parents credit professional athletes, heck, all celebrities with way too much power over their kids' lives. Yes, celebrities screw up, and sometimes our kids find out, and we need to talk about it. But day-to-day, kids are much more focused on the flaws and foibles of the grownups around them. We are their real role models, the people in whose footsteps they will really follow -- wrongly or rightly.

Cutting a guy like Alex Rodriguez out of a kids' movie might be good for the production company in terms of getting it out there, but let's be real -- this isn't about the kids themselves.

They could care less.

'The Wolverine' Reviews: Hugh Jackman's Anticipated Movie Brings a Few Surprises (VIDEO)

If you're planning on heading to the movies this weekend, it sounds like you can't go wrong in buying tickets for The Wolverine, which is already shaping up to be a huge box office hit based on the film's reviews.

Whether you're a hard core Marvel comics fan who has been anticipating the movie's release for months, or someone who simply can't resist seeing Hugh Jackman look all buff and sexy with his shirt off (yes, please) -- the flick is bound to please and keep you entertained and glued to the big screen. (Again -- Hugh Jackman is half-naked. How bad can it be?)

Want to hear what people are saying about the movie so far? Here's a quick run down of the reviews that have come in.

"It's a bit unwieldy but its moral complexity, Jackman's acting and an absolutely stunning sequence that manages to turn the overdone top-of-the-train chase scene into something we haven't seen before, puts The Wolverine in the upper echelon of super hero summer blockbusters. 5 Applause-Worthy Family Movie Night Snacks

Family movie night is fun, even with store-bought snacks. But with recommendations from the Families page at Netflix readily available, you can use your saved time to prepare some super-tasty treats that go far beyond basic popcorn. Round up the crew, pick a movie and serve up some dramatically delicious fun!

1. Candy Explosion Chocolate Bark: Chop up a pound of your favorite chocolate and melt it in a heatproof bowl in the microwave in 30-second increments, stirring after each, until completely smooth. Pour into a 13x9-inch baking pan or rimmed baking sheet that’s been lined with foil or parchment paper and sprinkle your kids’ favorite candies on top. (Go crazy! It’s more fun the more stuff you use.) Refrigerate at least an hour until set, then break into pieces and serve.

2. Super Sparkling Spritzer Station: Let kids customize their own fizzy drink by mixing together a variety of juices or fruit drinks (pear nectar, lemonade, and apple cider all work well) and plain or flavored seltzer. Serve in tall cups with fancy straws.

3. The-Sky’s-the-Limit Popcorn: Start with lots of plain popcorn (microwave or stove-top popped) and set out whatever mix-ins you want: mini pretzels, nuts, chocolate candies, gummy bears, the possibilities are endless! Give each person his or her own bowl to customize their own creation.

4. Hot Potato Chips: Scrub a few russet potatoes and slice crosswise into very thin rounds. Toss with some olive oil, salt, and pepper (or chopped herbs and garlic for more adventurous palates) and roast on a rimmed baking sheet in a preheated 450-degree oven for 15-20 minutes, turning once halfway through, until they’re golden brown and crispy. TIP: Spread them on a plate while they’re piping hot and top with finely shredded cheddar cheese and scallions for a cheese-fries effect.

5. Banana Bonanza Pops: Cut some slightly ripe bananas in half crosswise and insert a wooden stick into each cut end. Place on a plate or baking sheet in the freezer (not touching), cover with plastic wrap, and freeze for a few hours until solid. Melt some chopped chocolate (see #1, above) and pour it into a tall mug. One at a time, dip each banana in the chocolate (you can then coat them in chopped nuts, sprinkles, or anything else you want by rolling them on a plate of the chosen topping) and carefully transfer to a wax-paper-lined baking sheet or plate. You can eat these right away or freeze them to enjoy completely cold later.
