When we think of foods we love, we often think of the delicious scents that come with them. Fresh chocolate chip cookies are good, but it's the smell of them warm from the oven that makes them truly delicious. Apple pie is okay, but it's the way the aroma fills your home as it bakes that makes it extra special. 

But there are some foods that are exceptions to the rule. These rare delicacies may be delicious, but olfactory pleasure they do not provide. In fact, some might say they straight up bring both the noise AND the funk. 

We're coming at you with foods that could easily be confused with a teenage boy's gym bag. They may taste good, but they smell like a veritable barf sandwich. This South-Asian tree fruit is awesome. It's got a custard-like texture and kind of tastes like almonds. That said, its aroma is something, like, you know, your basic death fart.

Jenelle Evans Breaks Her Thumb in the World's Weirdest Accident

Are you sitting down? If so, please stand. You're going to want to be up for this. Jenelle Evans broke her thumb in her sleep the other night, you guys. As the story goes, per her lovah, Nathan Griffith, Jenelle was deep in a peaceful slumber a few nights ago when she rolled over and fell off the bed, breaking her most important finger: Her thumb. And the weirdest part about this whole weird story? Jenelle has no recollection of the incident whatsoever.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm ...

Jenelle initially fired off the tweet: "Woke up with a broken thumb", and when inquiring fans demanded to know how ("What'd you do? Sleep on it wrong?! Lol" one person asked), Jenelle simply responded with: "Nathan said I fell off the bed earlier lol I don't remember."

Now. I'm not one to make assumptions, buuuuut, when one is completely and totally sober -- nary a cocktail in their system -- how do they sleep through falling off of their bed and breaking a bone in their body? I know some people are deep sleepers, and I'm not saying Jenelle was under the influence of any kind. Buuuuut. This is a pretty impressive thing to sleep through. I've heard of people sleeping through alarms, phones, even their baby crying. But falling to the floor and smashing a finger to smithereens is a new one.

Glad everything is fine with Jenelle, and she's still able to LOL it up. But perhaps Nathan ought to install one of those toddler railings so Jenelle doesn't fall off the bed again. It was just a thumb this time, but who knows what could be next?

World's Largest Food Fight Brings Out the Kid in All of Us -- Wait 'Til You See! (PHOTOS)

Cuando llegas a la edad adulta, hay ciertas cosas que simplemente no puedes hacer más. Lamentablemente, consigue implicado en épica, pegajoso alimentos lucha aterriza en la parte superior de la lista, justo al lado de no lavarse las manos. ¿Qué es un adulto que cuando surge el deseo de lanzar alguna fruta suave, inofensivo a alguien? Bueno, esperemos que canalizar su energía en haciendo algo más positivo con menos limpieza.

Por otra parte, si no que lleva, siempre podría empacar un bolso y una cabeza a España. No te preocupes, no te estamos desterrando del país por malos modales. Pero si es una pelea de comida que anhelas, debes ir a la pequeña ciudad de Buñol para lo que ellos llaman "La Tomatina". Este normalmente tranquilo pueblo cerca de Valencia entra en erupción anualmente para esto, la lucha del alimento más grande del mundo.

La gente viaja de todo el mundo a participar en este festival de pay-to-play. No sugerimos vestido de blanco, ya que durante todo el evento, más de 130 toneladas de tomates se tiró, tiró y aplastados. En el lado positivo, su maleta será mucho más ligera cuando llevas a casa!

Este evento es divertido por el Dios de la diversión. Su orígenes se remontan a mediados de 1940, cuando un grupo de jóvenes--peeved no debe incluirse en un desfile organizado por los adultos--consiguió su venganza por mísera el desfile con fruta podrida. Ahora la procedencia exclusiva de los adultos, es la perfecta excusa anual para llevar a cabo el niño desordenado que vive dentro de todos nosotros!

Man Who Rescued Usher's Son Has World's Tackiest Mom

The story of Usher's 5-year-old son Usher Raymond V nearly drowning in a pool earlier this week has been kind of a rollercoaster to watch unfold. First there was the horrible news of the accident, which seemed particularly tragic since his stepson died just one year ago after being struck by a jet ski. Then there was the thankful announcement that the little boy had survived and was recovering, followed immediately by headlines that Usher's ex-wife had filed an emergency custody bid for her two sons, blaming Usher for putting the children at risk by using third-party caregivers.

It sounds like such an incredibly stressful time for the family, which is why it's beyond bizarre that the mother of one of the men who saved the boy's life is asking Usher to perform at her son's wedding next week. I mean, really?

Ben Crews is one of the two sound technicians who were at Usher's house installing some equipment at the time of the accident. When the little boy became trapped in a pool drain after trying to retrieve a toy, both men rushed to help when they heard a maid and the child's aunt screaming. Thankfully, they were able to pull him free, and technician Eugene Stachurski used CPR to revive him on the side of the pool.

Usher released a statement expressing his gratitude towards both men:

I am blessed and fortunate to say that my son Usher V is doing well and is recovering. I am overwhelmed by the outpouring of prayers, love and support for my family's well-being. I would like to thank my Aunt Rena as well as the doctors and nurses who are working with us around the clock. I'd especially like to thank the two men who saved my son's life, Eugene Stachurski and Ben Crews. They are true heroes and I am deeply grateful to them.

You'd think Ben Crews' mom would simply be proud of her son's heroic deed and happy a 5-year-old's life was saved, right? But for whatever reason, when she was approached by TMZ recently, Leigh Crews said she thought it would be a "nice gesture" for Usher to sing at her son's wedding next week.

Maybe I should give her the benefit of the doubt -- maybe she just tossed that out as a joke, or maybe she was bursting with motherly pride and couldn't help mentioning that her son was about to get hitched. Maybe Usher thinks this sounds like a great idea and he'll show up next week and belt out "DJ Got Us Fallin' in Love" while the happy couple steps out onto the dance floor.

Personally, though, I think this woman showed extremely bad manners with the request. The poor kid is still in the ICU, isn't he? Meanwhile, his parents are embroiled in what's sure to be a downright nasty custody fight. I'm sure Usher is profoundly grateful for what those men did, but now is definitely not the time for relatives to be asking for return favors.

It seems like pretty much every pregnancy announcement under the sun has been done. Search "pregnancy announcement" on YouTube and a list of videos that could ostensibly fill the Empire State Building twice comes up. They're all adorable; they all elicit adorable reactions from the surprisee; but they all kind of make you think, "Man. It really all has been done."

I'm here to tell you it hasn't all been done. You too can come up with a never-before-seen pregnancy announcement! It just takes a little creativity. Take this couple, for instance. They thought of a super cute way to surprise their mom with news of their impending bundle. It was super simple. Super inexpensive. All they needed was a piece of bread.

Check it out. Because you're hard-pressed to ever see a reaction to a pregnancy this enthusiastic. Sheer awesomeness ahead.

What a cute idea, right? And so simple. Doesn't get much easier than literally placing a bun in the oven and having someone find it! And what a positively awesome reaction from mom. Man, she was excited. A-plus all around.
