Can you imagine living in the same house as your ex-spouse after your divorce was final? Well, that's exactly what's happening to one couple in Spain. A judge has decided that their home should be split into two separate spaces -- because he believes it's what's best for the well being of the couple's children, and it will benefit them financially.

Their pad is a 2,700-square-foot apartment, and supposedly it's going to be split in half so the wife can live upstairs while the husband resides downstairs.

And while it's not exactly the worst arrangement in the world given the fact that they will at least have their own spaces -- it definitely does lend itself to more conflict if they have trouble treating each other civilly.

And what if the two units in the home don't have separate entrances? Yeah, that could get a little bit awkward, especially when one of them moves on and brings home a date for a night cap, if you catch my drift.

Huh. I may be going out on a bit of a limb here -- but maybe if these two had been ordered to live in different areas of the house a while ago, they wouldn't be going through a divorce right now. Come on ... think about it for a second. What if you had part of your house that was strictly designated as yours where your husband was not permitted to enter? You know, like your own private bathroom that smells like lavender and doesn't have towels thrown on the floor.

Or what if you had your very own bedroom complete with a big, fluffy bed where the sheets are perfectly tucked in and you don't have to fight anyone for the covers at night? (I could get behind that. Just throwing it out there.)

And I'm sure most husbands wouldn't complain about having a man cave to retreat to when they need a little time on their own. Maybe if the dude in Spain had one, it would've been just enough to do the trick and get their relationship back on track again.

Maybe I'm crazy, but I'm thinking a lot of fights could be avoided if couples had a little bit more breathing room.

Wishful thinking, I'm sure -- but wouldn't it be funny if living apart is exactly what these two need to find their way back together? Stranger things have happened.

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth's Split Makes Us Feel So Many Feelings

Y'all, it's official. We told you about how Miley Cyrus Twitter-dumped Liam Hemsworth over the weekend. Now her rep confirms Miley's engagement with Liam is officially off. Dunzo. Finito. Other word in another language that means over and ends in the letter "o." Can someone name one? Whatever. The point is, that thing we kept forgetting was supposed to happen (Miley and Liam getting married someday) is NOT going to happen after all. What a relief! Not that we believed that wedding was ever actually going to take place, because don't make me laugh. But at least they've finally dropped the exhausting charade.

"Liam and Miley are completely done and broken up," an insider told Us Weekly. And now, as we sort through the shattered wreckage of this on-again, off-again love story, it is time for us to feel our feelings. Here are all the emotions we're having about the Miley-Liam split.

First of all, we're just tremendously grateful that this engagement is over and everyone is moving on.

I mean, what took you so long, Liam? How much of Miley's immature acting out could you take? And how dense could you be that this girl was just not that into you?

We don't understand why anyone would even attempt to marry Miley Cyrus. You do not marry Miley. You witness Miley.

Every time Miley and Liam told us they were TOTALLY still a couple, we were just so exasperated.

Seriously losing patience with these two. And then after that crazy VMAs performance? We just lost it.

 

So yes, we're extremely happy with Miley and Liam for finally arriving at this very mature conclusion, however they reached it.

Seriously, brought us to tears. But a warning to you, Miley and Liam. Do not, DO NOT!!! Attempt a reconciliation. Ever. Not even when you're in you're 80s. I am warning you.

Clint Eastwood and Dina Eastwood Announce Split After 17 Years

Dina Eastwood and husband Clint Eastwood are splitting up after 17 years of marriage. Dina announced the split, admitting that the couple has been living separately for some time and have decided to call it quits. It's sad, obviously, because they have been together for ages and have a daughter (Morgan), but it's not entirely surprising.

After all, during his tenure on this earth, Clint has been exceptionally fond of the ladies. While it was only his second marriage, the dude's got seven kids with five different ladies. I'm not saying he got around -- but he totally got around! Also, the duo had a pretty impressive age difference of 35 years. Add to that Dina's recent hospitalization for anxiety and depression and it's clear something's been up for a while. 

It definitely makes you wonder what's in the water, coming as quickly as it does after reports about Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones's separation. I mean, if these tried and true relationships in Hollywood can't last, is there really any hope for all those bright-eyed and bushy-tailed celebrity newlyweds?

Still, this split is a little less surprising. Personally? I would have been out of there the instant my life-mate began addressing empty chairs. It's probably even LESS shocking if you made a habit of watching Bravo's Mrs. Eastwood & Company. I'm not saying you saw Clint and Dina bickering. But the woman had an ENTIRE SOUTH AFRICAN BOY BAND living in her house! Sure, we've all been lonely enough to desire the presence of, say, 'NYSNC at our beck and call 24-7. It's just a few of us lack the financial backing to make our desperate dreams a reality.

‘Game of Thrones’ Kit Harington and Rose Leslie Split -- Will He Date Emilia Clarke Now?

There's something feel-good-ery about actors on a movie or television show who play a fictional couple and get together in real life. Isn't there? You know, as long as they weren't already married or anything ... but let's not get into that. Let's get into the fact that love had once blossomed admist all the torture and violence and baby killings on the HBO show Game of Thrones. Jon Snow, played by Kit Harington, and wilding Ygritte, played by Rose Leslie, were reportedly a couple. But sadly it seems their fairy tale romance has come to an end. A while ago ...

Rumors were circulating that the two got together while filming Game of Thrones, but it seems we're only able to get confirmation they were once a couple because it's confirmed they've officially split up! How sad indeed. Not only was their relationship seemingly doomed in Westeros, it's doomed in our world too.

Fans of the show will not soon forget their forbidden romance, especially, um, the "lord's kiss" (hehe) and how Jon loved how Ygritte was "kissed by fire." But since this is Game of Thrones, and something tragic was bound to happen between the two of them, well ... it's just a shame they couldn't have gotten married and had a bunch of babies in real life to starkly compare to how dark and depressing and twisted the show they met on is.

"Rose and Kit are no longer together. Rose has a new boyfriend who is not in the public eye. She is eager to keep this relationship out of the spotlight," said a source.

So now what will Kit do since Rose has clearly moved on from their torrent love affair?

Duh, clearly he should hook up with Emilia Clarke, aka Daenerys Targaryen, and represent one half of the ultimate Game of Thrones power couple!

Seriously, no couple could encompass more badassery than a Kit & Emilia pairing. And could what may happen in real life in fact happen down the road in (unpublished) books 6 and 7? Jon's and Ygritte's affair ends, but then Jon and Daenerys get together and rule Westeros. Then Kit and Emilia would actually get together and prove how much cooler and hotter they are than Robsten! GoT fans' minds would be completely blown. The Internet would explode. I can't even imagine the memes and gifs that would come out of a Kit/Emilia romance.

It could happen. Right?

Robert Pattinson Finally Drops Nasty Habit Thanks to Kristen Stewart Split

Judging from the headlines about him throwing lavish Gatsby parties and dating Riley Keough, Robert Pattinson seems to be doing amazingly well in the wake of his split from Kristen Stewart. The proof: The guy has officially stopped smoking! A source tells HollywoodLife.com, "Rob has finally quit smoking for good. And he feels and looks healthier than ever. Working out has helped him tremendously with regard to quitting smoking. The two just don’t go hand-in-hand. Rob is now addicted to exercising and feeling good." Awesome!

We all saw the photos of RPattz and KStew together, smoking up a nervous storm. The two clearly shared the nasty habit, and when you're a couple of smokers, it can be even harder to quit. Maybe for Rob, breaking up with Kristen was one step closer to being able to break it off with cigarettes?

After all, Kristen has no interest in quitting anytime soon! (She was recently photographed smoking during a break on the set of her new film Camp X-Ray.) In fact, it's painfully clear there are better, healthier moves she could be making post-split.

But whatever! Rob's obviously got the right idea. As I'm sure he's been told by his trainer, Harley Pasternak (who has also worked with Hilary Duff, John Mayer, Jessica Simpson, etc.), there's no way you can truly get fit as a smoker. By ditching the death sticks, he seems to be thoroughly focused on bolstering his physical -- as well as mental and emotional -- well-being. The source says Rob's "determined to get into the best shape of his life." I believe it! And that'll only stand to help him get ahead professionally and personally.

New Poll Proves the Zimmerman Trial Has Split Our Nation in Two

If there was any doubt left in your mind about the effect the George Zimmerman trial has had on race relations in America, there won't be after you read this post.

A new poll released today by the Pew Research Center spells it out -- The George Zimmerman trial has deeply divided our nation along color lines. We all knew it was happening based on the number of protests, editorials, blog posts, analyses, Tweets, and Facebook posts on both sides of the issue. Still, it's chilling to see the actual percentages on reaction to the trial based on race.

Check this out:

-49% of whites say they are satisfied with the outcome of the Zimmerman trial, compared to just 5% of blacks.

-60% of whites believe the issue of race is getting more attention than it deserves, compared to 13% of blacks.

-Meanwhile, 78% of blacks say the Zimmerman trial raises important issues about race that need to be discussed, compared to just 28% of whites.

I don't know about you, but to me these findings are disturbing. We need to be pulling together as a nation, and I haven't felt more deeply divided since, well, since the presidential election. Man, that got ugly.

Moms on both sides of the issue are making their opinions known online, and discussions in the comments are getting heated.

Kristen Howerton, author of the blog Rage Against the Minivan, breaks down the topic of white privilege in this post. "The only aspect of white privilege that should invoke guilt," she writes, "is if you decide that because you don’t experience racism, that you don’t have to listen or care when other people do." Kristen teaches a graduate level course on diversity, so she knows what she's talking about. This post is worth a read.

On the Huffington Post, concert pianist Jade Simmons has an internal dialogue with her 5-year-old son in the wake of the verdict. "You will be tall and dashing, I can tell," she writes, "but I fear that on a rainy night dressed in a hoodie this will cause you some issues. So how do I shelter you from a fate sealed by ignorant misunderstanding and prejudiced overreaction?" As you can imagine, the comments section is filled with responses.

Meanwhile here on The Stir, conservative blogger Jenny Erickson fired back with a post called George Zimmerman is No Racist and Trayvon Martin is No Martyr. "The media’s capitulation of this story to promote its own agenda is inexcusable," she writes. "Not everything is about race. Sometimes it’s just a very sad story of a life ended too soon." As you can imagine, the commenters went wild.

And if you haven't seen our Moms Matter Google Hangout on race relations in the wake of the Zimmerman trial, I hope you'll check it out. I think it's one of our best.

I believe too many people are getting caught up in the details of  the Zimmerman trial-- Face it, it was an imperfect case. Zimmerman's trial just brought to the surface the fact that a majority of blacks feel discriminated against. Whether whites feel this discrimination is real or not is irrelevant. If a large portion of our population feels discriminated against, we must, as a nation, address it. We must deal with the problem and work to solve it. For me as a white woman, that starts by doing a whole lot of listening. I am listening carefully right now to how my black friends and colleagues feel about this trial. I am listening to their experiences of being a black person in America. No, I can't know firsthand what it's like to be black, but by listening, I can at least gain some understanding of what they've been through, and how they feel about it, and why. This is doubly important because I'm a mom, and my perception is inevitably what I teach my children. And so I will not dismiss the feelings and perceptions of those who feel discriminated against, and it makes me sad when I see others do so.

Kristen Stewart puede no estar pasando de Robert Pattinson por salir con compañero temperamental actor Michael Pitt, pero también no luce casi tan cambiante como siempre! Ayer, su Campo rayos x coprotagonista Lane Garrison (que también sepáis de Prison Break) publicada una foto de sí mismo, Kristen y Peyman Moaadi en el set de la película actualmente flick a Instagram, y el trío vieron positivamente chipper. Sí, incluso KStew!

Lane escribió, "cabeza afeitada y ahora estamos listos para disparar! @kristenstewart @peymanmodi #campxray"

¿Bueno, no parecen encendió y listo para salir...? Podría Lane (que es único; ¿Casado de Peyman) ser un potencial interés de amor fuera de la pantalla así como colega de Kristen?

Algunos fans parecen pensar así, pero eh, no salto a conclusiones tan rápido en ese camino. Lo más importante, vamos a hablar de qué feliz se ve! La mujer parece que come el biznaz de actuar seria, así que no sería una sorpresa si este concierto en el campo rayos x--y seguro, empresa de sus co-estrellas--está ayudando no sólo alejar su mente de la ruptura pero Anímate en conjunto.

Claramente, tirando de ella misma en su trabajo es otra vez todas las necesidades de KStew a sentir--y mira - fab.
