Okay, so I don't really know what official awards these

No matter what time of day/week/month/year it is, I'm always in the mood for some delicious chocolate bits of heaven. It's 10 a.m.? I don't care! Give me that chocolate!
When you think "double chocolate chip muffins," the first word that comes to your mind most definitely isn't "healthy" or "skinny." Well, leave it to the creative bakers out there to be able to concoct some amazing "skinny double chocolate chip muffins"! Yes, they do exist!
While not every flavor of the rainbow pairs well with chocolate, there are a bevy of fruits, spices, and herbs that do make for a fantastic taste combo when paired with perfect chocolate cake. I'm a major fan of mint with my chocolate. But my second choice would have to be a juicy, tart red berry -- like raspberry or strawberry. Hence why this awesome chocolate cupcakes with pretty pink, strawberry frosting recipe is calling my name. And probably yours, too!
Banana bread is one of those delightful desserts-in-disguise-as-breakfast that you can find at just about any grocery store or bakery. But finding a freshly baked piece with the right texture and flavor is a whole different ball game ... I only recently realized this after having insanely awesome banana bread a couple of times on my honeymoon in Hawaii and coming home wanting to procure myself something that resembled what we enjoyed in Maui. Thankfully, the closest thing to Hawaii is ... in my kitchen! Banana bread is a piece of cake (kinda, right?) to DIY! Love it. Love it even more with chocolate chunks. Oh yes.
