outrageous brownie recipeHonestly, it would take a pretty big uh-oh to mess up the perfection that is a brownie. Throw some chocolate and sugar in there (and, you know, some of those other vital ingredients), and you've got yourself a crowd-pleaser.

However, there are some brownie recipes that are just so delicious and chocolatey that you can tell in the first bite it would be hard to find a better one. Those out-of-this-world brownies pack a secret punch that would leave even those indifferent towards brownies drooling for more.

The secret ingredient is ... coffee granules! Now you can combine your favorite dessert with your go-to morning drink. Instant coffee granules give these treats a caffeine boost and mild coffee flavor for all the latte lovers out there.

Insider's tip: if you want to make these brownies even better, try spiking the mix with your favorite liqueur. For a mellow, nutty flavor, try some Frangelico, and for more coffee flavor with a kick, add some Kahlua.

Ingredients:

1 pound unsalted butter1 pound plus 12 ounces semisweet chocolate chips6 ounces unsweetened chocolate6 extra-large eggs3 tablespoons instant coffee granules2 tablespoons pure vanilla extract2 1/4 cups sugar1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour1 tablespoon baking powder1 teaspoon salt3 cups chopped walnuts

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.Butter and flour a 12 x 18 x 1-inch baking sheet. In a medium bowl over simmering water, melt together the butter, 1 pound of chocolate chips, and the unsweetened chocolate. Allow to cool slightly. In a large bowl, stir (do not beat) together the eggs, coffee granules, vanilla, and sugar.Stir the warm chocolate mixture into the egg mixture and allow to cool to room temperature. In a medium bowl, sift together 1 cup of flour, the baking powder, and salt. Add mixture to the cooled chocolate mixture.Toss the walnuts and 12 ounces of chocolate chips in a medium bowl with 1/4 cup of flour, then add them to the chocolate batter.Pour completed chocolate batter into the baking sheet.Bake for 20 minutes, then rap the baking sheet against the oven shelf to force the air to escape from between the pan and the brownie dough. Bake for about 15 minutes more, until a toothpick comes out clean.Allow to cool thoroughly, refrigerate, and then enjoy!Click the "Like" button below to get a tasty recipe every day on Facebook. chocolate chip cookiesOkay, so I don't really know what official awards these award-winning cookies from All Recipes have won, but they will win the award of the best cookies you ever make, for sure.

While their beauty is in their simplicity, these are much more than just chocolate chip cookies. They are moist, flavorful, and soft -- pretty much perfect. They separate themselves from the rest of the pack with a surprising secret ingredient -- vanilla pudding. It sounds a bit strange, but trust me, it works!

Award-Winning Chocolate Chip Cookies

4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 cups butter, softened
1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
2 (3.4 ounce) packages instant vanilla
pudding mix
4 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
4 cups semisweet chocolate chips
2 cups chopped walnuts (optional)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Sift together the flour and baking soda, set aside.

In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar. Beat in the instant pudding mix until blended.

Stir in eggs and vanilla.

Blend in the flour mixture. Finally, stir in the chocolate chips and nuts. Drop cookies by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.

Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven. Edges should be golden brown.
