There's just something about a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. It's simple, delicious, and comforting. As amazing as the lunchbox staple is, however, these PB&J cookies are even better.

They're almost as easy to make as a sandwich too, and they take only five ingredients. Bonus: This recipe from All Recipes doesn't even contain flour so they're great for those who follow a gluten-free diet as well. I'm not going to tell you it's okay to eat these instead of a sandwich, but if you do, I won't tell.

PB & J Cookies

1 cup peanut butter
1 cup white sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons fruit preserves, any flavor
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

In a medium bowl, mix together peanut butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla until well blended.

Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Use a fork to make a criss-cross pattern on the top.

Make a small hole in the top of each cookie using the handle of a wooden spoon. Fill the holes with preserves.

Bake for 8 to 11 minutes in preheated oven. Allow to cool for a couple of minutes on the cookie sheets before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.

Por si acaso hay alguna duda ahí que aplicaciones pueden enseñar a los bebés, la respuesta es no seas tonta. Por supuesto aplicaciones pueden enseñar bebés algo: Cómo hacer luces go en iPhone de mamá. Y eso es todo. Grupo de defensa de la campaña para una niñez libre de comerciales es empujar a la FCC para investigar a los desarrolladores que afirman su bebé apps son educativas. Por última vez, aplicaciones móviles no hará que su bebé más inteligente. Si nada, ellos pueden atrofiar la mente de su bebé.

Este es el mismo grupo que la FCC para ejercer presión sobre el equipo de Baby Einstein para detener alegando que podrían enseñar a bebés y niños pequeños a leer. Dicen que la evidencia es clara: no hay ningún beneficios educativos para exponer a los bebés y niños pequeños de tiempo de pantalla.

Veo que marketing como una especie de mentira, todo el mundo dice sí mismos para justificar entregando el teléfono a su bebé para que puedas escuchar tú mismo crees durante cinco minutos. Sabemos mejor, ¿no?

Tal vez no. Tal vez realmente hay gente ahí fuera que cree la comercialización. Y de todos modos, creo que todos hemos decidido que no nos gusta cuando anuncios mentirnos, incluso si no creemos en las mentiras. Así que si no sabes antes (e ir adelante, sólo decir que hiciste), vas a hacer ahora: Apps no hará que tu bebé más inteligente. Fin.

Relief.In an effort to clear up any rumors that she and Robert Pattinson have a "thing" going on, Katy Perry confessed that she farts in front of Rob. Yep. The "Teenage Dream" singer apparently holds nothing back in front of her buddy ol' pal, including bodily functions, which should prove to everyone once and for all that there's nothing romantic between the two whatsoever.

Because if there's one thing Katy Perry doesn't do, it's fart in front of her love interests.

Perry said in an interview with Elle UK: "Okay, so here's the proof there was never anything going on with me and Robert Pattinson. I fart in front of him. Properly fart. And I never, ever fart in front of a man I am dating." She then added: "He's my bud, I'm like his big sister ... we just hang out."

I actually don't think there is, or ever was, anything romantic going on between Rob and Katy, as she and Kristen are reportedly friends, and that would be a really jank thing for her to do. But I also think "He's my bud, I'm like his big sister" would have sufficed in Katy's zeal to prove her point. No need to conjure up an image of Rob putting his hand over his nose and frantically fanning the air, after her reeking up the joint.

However, another interesting comment Katy made in the interview was how she's "proud" of the fact that she hasn't slept with Rob. She said: "The other day, I said, 'One of the things I'm most proud of is not sleeping with you, Robert.' And that's true." Now, like I said, I do believe that Katy and Rob are just friends, but it is a little strange that Katy is chalking this up as an accomplishment on her behalf. It really doesn't take much to not sleep with someone if you feel nothing for them whatsoever. So maybe, deep down, Katy does have a little something for Rob, despite their just being friends.

But then again, she admitted that she farts in front of him, so I don't know. Katy. Rob. Sex. Farts. It's all one giant mystery. We can only hope that one day the scientists at NASA get a break from their busy schedules to help us figure this one out.

The Duchess of Cambridge (who I will forever think of as Kate Middleton!) had the right idea, wearing a cute yet comfy Jenny Packham shirt dress when she left the hospital the other day, beautiful babe in arms! I love dresses because they're an entire outfit in one (lazy people unite!) and they're often very body-flattering.
