Once upon a time, pornography was the most popular thing on the Internet. Now? Now, it's social media, dear friends. According to Wikipedia, "Social media has overtaken pornography as the No. 1 activity on the web". Actually, it's been this way for some time now, but can we please take a moment to discuss this, because this is insane?!

People would rather look at photos of latte foam from a person they used to work with than, well, boobs. What a disappointment we've become.

Now, for all you porn fans out there, don't you worry. The industry is still booming. It's just the social media industry is booming ... more. And I can't help but think that, if people would prefer to go on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram over, ah, getting off, they're probably choosing it over the real thing, too. (Sex, people, I'm talking about sex.)

Social media, in every sense of the word, is addictive. We have collectively become a society who's obsessed with knowing what other people are doing at all times, and having other people know what we're doing at all times -- even if it's nothing at all. Sitting in traffic? I'll upload a picture! Just bought a Starbucks? I'll upload a picture! Giving birth? I'll upload a picture! It's, quite literally, taken over our lives. And the fact that it's surpassed porn -- free porn! -- as the most common activity on the web 100 percent solidifies this.

As I'm writing this, I've realized that it may come off like I'm some giant porn supporter or something -- a dirty bird, if you will -- but I'm not. I'm so not. I'm just really sick of social med-- Oh my god, this girl I know just posted the cutest photo of her new puppy to Instagram! Like! #adorable

Felicidades pueden ser en orden para Nicki Minaj y DJ Khaled después Khaled propuso hoy. Su propuesta, sin embargo, era tan extraño y de repente, todas las apuestas están fuera en cuanto a si Minaj dirá sí o no. No fue exactamente su típica romántica ofrece.

Lo hizo cuando Minaj no estaba aún presente. En su lugar estaba con MTV News cuando puso en marcha en una profesión de amor para Minaj.

Estaba esperando un remate, pero después se puso muy serio y batida un anillo (10 quilates corte radiante, con un valor estimado de $500.000, según MTV). Él continuó:

Nicki Minaj, ¿quieres casarte conmigo? Tenemos los mismos síntomas, ambos sufrimos de éxito. Te sus giras, estás fuera haciendo sus chanchullos, estás ahí haciendo música y estás fuera su ganador. Y lo entiendo. Por eso siento que necesita un hombre como yo en tu vida que va a cuidarte y respetarte. Si tienes que tómate tu tiempo y piensa en ello, overstand. Pero sé que tengo que estar aquí hoy para hacerte saber lo serio que soy y lo serio que es esto para mí. ¿Va en serio (tanto acerca de la propuesta y utilizar el "overstand" de mundo)? Parece claro que, aunque no existen informes de ellos citas previamente. ¿Quizá sea un romance secreto? ¿O tal vez sólo está rompiendo su tiempo de gran amor? ¿O quizá es sólo un truco publicitario bizarro (supongo)? Mientras que no ha habido ninguna respuesta de Minaj todavía, no puedo esperar a oír lo que tiene que decir al respecto. Dudo que sea sí.
