Increíble casi resume un correo electrónico enviado por un pastor de una Carolina del Norte iglesia quién pidió recientemente que solamente la gente blanca se le permitirá actuar como Comité de bienvenida en las puertas delanteras. Según UPI, Pastor Makeda Pennycooke declaró que "las primeras impresiones importan", y esa Libertad casa iglesia quiere "lo mejor de lo mejor en las puertas delanteras".

"Así que nos gustaría pedirle que sólo los blancos estar en las puertas delanteras".

¿La boca está abierta, horrorizado por esta flagrante racismo? El mío es aún. Ahora, cabe señalar que Pennycooke es negro y su directiva fue un intento de "traer nuestro péndulo demográfico racial hacia la línea media", pero aún así. No hay nada que pudiera hacer esta petición bien remotamente, sin importar quién lo hizo.

Es el racismo llano y simple, sin importar qué color piel del pastor y cuán increíblemente ofensivo para todos los miembros de esa iglesia. Carmen Thomas, que anteriormente perteneció a la iglesia desde hace dos años, renunció después de ver el correo electrónico del párroco. WBTV dijo que ella ha consternado que alguien trataría de utilizar engaños para traer a la gente a la iglesia.

No poner la guinda a un chocolate y te crees que estás comiendo vainilla. No tiene sentido. Sabes es chocolate. Sabes que estás comiendo un pastel de chocolate.

Pennycooke y otros funcionarios de la iglesia desde entonces han disculpado, llamarlo un lapso de juicio. Dijeron que la estación, "los pastores se han reunido con el personal y miembros de la iglesia para confirmar su compromiso con la diversidad y para asegurar que no pasa nada como esto otra vez".

Por lo menos se dan cuenta de que estaba mal, pero nada puede cambiar el hecho de que fue puesto allí. No me imagino a asistir a una iglesia dirigida por alguien que ha expresado tal fealdad.

Vicki Gunvalson Will Never Leave 'RHOC' No Matter What She Says

Monday is part three of The Real Housewives of Orange County reunion, and previews indicate that it's going to be an explosive one (which, of course, they always do). The thing that has everyone buzzing about this one, however, is a peek at a scene in which Vicki Gunvalson gets up and storms off stage saying, "Guess what, Vicki's done with the show!" 

So is that it for Vicki? Could the O.G. of the O.C. really be throwing in the towel for good?

That would be a big HELL NO. There's no way Vicki will ever leave RHOC of her own free will. And Andy Cohen loves her, so I think she'll go down with the ship ... if it ever goes down. 

Sure, it's been a dramatic season for her (Of course, when has a season not been dramatic for her?), with all of the Brooks Ayers nastiness, the issues with her son-in-law, Ryan Culberson, and, of course, the rumors Lauri Peterson came back to throw in her face. It would definitely be enough to send most people running from the show, never to look back.

Vicki, however, isn't most people. She thrives in this kind of drama. While the actual events may be painful for her, I think she finds some kind of comfort in being able to work through them in the public light. She recently told OK magazine as much:

That teeter totter really gets pushed sometimes, but I like it.  I like the drama. I like the craziness. I like to juggle a lot of things at once. I was told if you want a big life you’ll have big problems and if you want a small life, you’ll have small problems. I’m a big life kind of girl.

Also, she likes to win. If she walked now, it would be letting Lauri and all of the others who (justifiably) went after her relationship with Brooks win, and there's no way she would do that. It's just not in her to give up like that.

Finally, Vicki is a businesswoman first and foremost, and she knows how lucrative this show can be in many ways. From vodka to wine, she's letting the RHOC light shine on her business endeavors, and there's no way she's going to dim it.

So no, Vicki isn't going anywhere. I suppose we'll have to wait and see to really know for sure, but I would be shocked if she did. And I hope not, because, really,  what would RHOC be without her?

America's got Royal Baby fever!

We just can't seem to get enough of Wills and Kate's new baby boy, and you know The Stir writers are on top of this important breaking news event.

If it's Royal Baby-related, we're all over it! Check out this week's Moms Matter Google Hangout, in which we discuss the carseat mishap, the long wait over a baby name, and how Kate Middleton is handling being the center of the world's attention at a time when she needs her privacy more than ever...

I'm pretty sure the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge watched our Moms Matter video as soon as it was posted on YouTube, because almost immediately afterward, they announced Royal Baby's name:

George Alexander Louis.

Darn. We were all hoping it would be Jaeden.Or perhaps Jayden. Or possibly Jaidunn. Even Jjadon would have worked for me.

By the way, has anyone noticed that his initials are GAL? Heh.

Anyway.

We wish the Royal Couple and their son the very best, and I think it's safe to say we all hope Kate and William will be left alone for a while to enjoy some private time with their new son. It's got to be tough going through such an emotional time in the public eye.
