After a super-eventful year starring on VH1's Couples Therapy, Teen Mom's Catelynn Lowell was invited to make an appearance at the Teenz Fav Awards in Toronto on Saturday. Lucky for us, the reality star recently took to Instagram to give us a sneak peek at the shocking duds she'll be sporting to the starry event. And by duds I mean ... a jaw-dropping, potentially injury-causing pair of shoes.

Uh, yeah, see what I mean? The way Catelynn wrote about them on Instagram, you'd think they were your everyday, prom-ready Ninas! She wrote, "My shoes for the award show .. it's ok Sista u can borrow them @xoambularxo," referring to Amber Baltierra. So in other words, it's not just Catelynn who can somehow manage to rock these Lady Gaga-esque heel-free wonders?! Yeesh, I am impressed -- and horrified, all at once.

Personally, I see no reason to risk your neck for a pair of heels, no matter how hot. I'm not quite sure how one would walk in these; they look downright dangerous. No matter, though! Tyler will be accompanying Catelynn, so thankfully, if she needs a hand -- or an arm to cling to -- she'll have his nearby. I also would encourage Cate to pack a pair of flats in her clutch! No matter how experienced you are walking in haute couture kicks like this, I can't imagine anyone's tootsies being able to take more than a couple of hours in them ... right?

Fudge Sundae Pie Recipe You'll Fall Head Over Heels For

Any combo of two different desserts in one is a winner, as far as I'm concerned. Ice cream cake usually takes the cake, but let's not forget that you can also make an ice cream PIE. And I don't just mean a slice of pie a la mode. (Although that is delicious, too!)

Take, for instance, this recipe for fudge sundae pie, which is ridiculously easy and requires so few ingredients, you could probably whip one up on a whim. Not that I'm trying to tempt you or anything like that ...

Fudge Sundae Pie from AllRecipes.com

1 cup evaporated milk
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup miniature marshmallows
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 (12 ounce) package vanilla wafers
1 quart vanilla ice cream, softened
1/4 cup pecans

Directions:

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine evaporated milk, chocolate chips, marshmallows, and salt; stir until chocolate and marshmallows melt and mixture smoothes and thickens. Remove from heat and let cool.Line a 9-inch pie plate with vanilla wafers. Spoon half of ice cream over wafers and spread evenly, then top with half of chocolate/marshmallow mixture.
