Prince William Says the Royal Baby Takes After His Brother Harry

Prince William gave his first interview since the birth of his son, Prince George, and he had some adorable, and unexpected, things to say about the little royal. One of the interesting things he said about PG is that the tyke already has a very formed personality -- and that it's like his uncle, Harry! Wills revealed:

He's a little bit of a rascal, let's put it that way! He either reminds me of my brother or me when I was younger, I'm not sure ... [He is] growing quite quickly actually. But he's a little fighter. He kind of, he wriggles around quite a lot. And he doesn't want to go to sleep that much, which is a little bit of a problem.

Hm, does this mean George will grow up to party naked in a Las Vegas hotel room?

One thing that's so interesting about babies is how quickly they develop their own personality. And you never quite know where it's going to come from. We tend to think our kids will be a perfect mixture of parents -- and inherit only the best qualities of both sides. But what if the kid gets the worst qualities of both sides?! Or gets the personality of some long-lost black sheep cousin? Yikes!

Prince Harry is a good guy but, let's face it, kind of the wild card in the family. There was the scandal after he dressed as a Nazi at a costume party. And who can forget his naked romp inside a Las Vegas hotel in January?

One of my friends has an adorable 2-year-old girl. She looks just like her mom. But it's clear she gets a lot of her personality from her dad. We joke that she even likes his favorite bar. But it's true! When we bring her there, she doesn't want to leave. She loves the place. So does he! She loves it even if he's not there. So weird.

Another friend was certain her baby was going to be just like her -- which was the last thing she wanted. She was a very troublesome youth and her baby was a real kicker inside the womb. Sure enough, baby came out a real screamer and a stubborn tantrum-thrower. Just like she used to be. "Oh God," she wailed. "Do I have to deal with myself until she's 16?!"

Hey, Harry isn't all bad. A little spice never hurt anyone. And Wills indicates that George may even be taking after him -- when he was younger. Crazy little kids can grow up to be sweet, even shy, adults. I've seen that happen too. As for myself, I take so little after either one of my parents that I often wonder where the hell I came from. On the other hand, I'm eerily similar to my paternal grandfather. (He and I have the exact same hands too, but that's another story.)

So what will Georgie be like? Whether he's like Harry or Wills, I think he'll be just fine. As long as he's not like Charles.

Kidnap Victim Hannah Anderson Had 'No Idea' Her Mom and Brother Were Killed (VIDEO)

Kidnap victim Hannah Anderson has been reunited with her father after her ordeal in the Idaho mountains with murder suspect James Lee DiMaggio. More news is coming out about what happened in the mountains, and San Diego County Sheriff Bill Gore gave an interview saying that Hannah had no idea that her mother, Christina Anderson, and her 8-year-old brother, Ethan, had been killed.

Gore said:

It is clear from the information that we've received, that she was under extreme duress. She was taken out of the county, out of the state, clearly against her will ... Our focus now is on trying to get Hannah all the resources, the help she needs to get through this extremely traumatic ordeal she’s been through.

DiMaggio was killed by FBI agents as he and 16-year-old Hannah hiked in the Idaho wilderness. They were spotted by four horseback riders who thought they seemed out of place and who, when they tried to make conversation with the pair, got the distinct feeling they didn't want to speak. Hannah is reported to have said, "We're in trouble now," and tried to avoid eye contact with the riders. It wasn't until the riders returned and saw the pair on TV that they knew who they were.

Gore also said that DiMaggio had fired at least one shot at agents before he was killed. Previous reports had said he was unarmed.

Hannah has been reunited with her father, Brett Anderson. She has also been reunited with her cat, which was also with them on the trip. It was one of the odd clues that led the riders to believe the two didn't belong in the woods. Said rider Mark John:

The only reason you bring a cat out there is to attract a mountain lion or a bear.

It's a good thing that Hannah was spotted when she was. Had she stayed up in the mountains any longer, who knows what DiMaggio -- or a mountain lion -- would have done to her. Asked if we'll ever know the motivation behind why DiMaggio did what he did, Gore said: "Sometimes you never know ... Clearly he had severe mental problems to do what he did."

Now Hannah will have to deal with the terrible trauma of what happened to her mom and brother.

Few things can rival the relationship between two siblings -- especially when you're young. They're the person you complain about Mom and Dad to; they're the person you hang out with on family vacations; they're the person who can make you laugh like no other. They're a built-in forever friend. So when one of those siblings is deployed due to their brave decision to serve our country, it has to be terrifying for the other.

Check out this adorable brother giving his equally adorable sister the surprise of her life with his amazing military homecoming. Her reaction is truly priceless.

What a great reaction. This girl is genuinely shocked at her bro's casual "remember me?" greeting. And you can just see the love between these two through their long hug. So glad they were reunited. What an adorable pair!

An Open Letter to My Brother Who Never Believed I Could Run a Mile

To my brother,

We haven't spoken in a while. Since we've never been the closest of siblings, it doesn't surprise me. I miss you. It's weird when people ask how you're doing and I haven't the slightest idea. I've been thinking of you a lot lately, for one reason in particular. I don't know if you know, but I'm training for a marathon. A full marathon, 26.2 miles. Who am I kidding? You know how far it is.

To some, it's no big deal. I want to tell you because I remember the countless days growing up when you used to tell me to "go run a mile." You know, that comeback you'd always sling at your younger, overweight sister when she did something to get under your skin?

In retrospect, it was a solid insult. I couldn't run a mile to save my life back then. You knew that. I remember the distinct high-pitched tone in Mom's voice when she'd reprimand you for saying that to me. Every. Single. Time.

This morning I ran 15 of them. Fifteen miles. That's why I'm checking in, to say thank you.

Thank you for inspiring me to become a better person. After ending up at the same college as you and spending a year there together, you made me realize that as I got older, I needed to take better care of myself. Taking better care of myself involved actually lugging myself to that dingy overcrowded gym, turning down French fries at the dining hall in exchange for some low-cal soup of the day, and skipping that occasional kegger at your fraternity house. (I heard it got condemned, by the way. Something about termites.) It's OK. You had no clue when you were ragging on me for being "lame" and "staying in" that I was just trying to get on track with my health. To me back then, it was sorta funny.

You want the truth? Every single time I run, I think about that phrase "go run a mile." I think about how damn far I've come since a much pudgier me accidentally bit you at age 5 because you stole the Nintendo controller from me and you retaliated with "get your fat butt away from me!" (Didn't think I remembered that, did you?) I think about the first time I ever did run a full mile next to you on a treadmill at our local gym, and how you had and still have absolutely NO CLUE how much that moment meant to me. And still does.

I want to cry after every long run. It's not your fault. It really isn't. I'm just so thankful, that's all. I'm thankful that I can run. I'm thankful that I'm 70 pounds less. I'm thankful that I have such supportive family and friends to join me in this new journey.

I guess this letter is my own way of letting you know that you really are a huge part of why I started this journey in the first place. Please come in October. Be at the finish line. I know Dad can be embarrassing with that big sign and his bazillion Facebook race updates, but if you could even remotely make me feel like you were actually proud of me for once, I'd be forever grateful.

I guess, though, I already am. Thanks, bro. For that first mile, and for every mile since.

P.S. I know the homecoming game is that same afternoon. If you promise to carry me or push me in the old Radio Flyer in Dad's basement, I'll buy the first round.
