AppId is over the quota

I'm too impatient and lazy to get my legs waxed (also, wimpy!), but shaving myself into bathing-suit readiness all summer is really a pain in the you-know-what. No matter how careful I try to be, most of the time I end up with some kind of nick or rash or sprinkling of weird red bumps ... especially when it comes to the good old bikini area. Therefore, I am quite thrilled to have discovered Shaveworks, a line of products that make shaving a much easier and -- dare I say? -- SMOOTHER experience.
Shaveworks makes several products, but I only tried two of them, and trust me, they'll be permanent fixtures in my bathroom from here on out.
First I shaved my legs and bikini line (in the shower) with Shaveworks Pearl Soufflé Shave Cream. This stuff is really the bomb, especially for someone who has been known to use plain old soap for these tasks. (Horrible, I know.) At $22 for 5.3 ounces at Sephora, it's definitley pricier than any other shaving cream I've ever purchased, but I was so pleased with my ultra smooth, nick-free shave ... it's well worth it. Plus, a little bit really goes a long way. It's formulated to minimize hair growth, exfoliate with phytic and glycolic acid (to help reduce bumps), AND to mosturize. I think it would be worth buying this JUST for your bikini area if you didn't want to use too much on your entire leg. But it would be hard to resist: My legs felt sooo nice and smooth the entire day after using this, I kept wanting to pet them! (Who's that weird mom at the pool who keeps petting her calves?!)
Then, once I got out of the shower, I dabbed a little Shaveworks The Cool Fix on my ultra sensitive bikini area. It actually stung a teensy bit at first, but only for a second, and then felt great. But more to the point, I didn't end up with a single red bump or hint of anything rashlike! Hooray! This cool blue gel stuff is made with exfoliating agents to help release trapped hairs from underneath your skin, kill bacteria, and prevent ingrown hairs from coming back. YES. You can get a small container of this at Sephora for $11.
All in all, totally worth the price.
Do you shave or wax?
