Well, isn't that just great. David Beckham had "Victoria" tattooed across his right hand, officially making him not only one of the best looking husbands on the planet, but also one of the most devoted.

I mean, this dude must really want the world to know that he only has eyes for his wife and has no intention of ever leaving her side; otherwise, he wouldn't want a permanent reminder of the vows he took written all over his hand, right?

(Sigh. I wonder if she has any idea how lucky she is?)

Aww. What an amazing guy. But you gotta admit -- getting a huge name tattoo is kind of a risky move, even if you think your marriage is rock solid. (Come on -- they're a Hollywood/London couple. Anything's possible.)

Some tattoos just really aren't a wise idea no matter how you look at them, and those featuring names are definitely at the top of the list. They're like a jinx or something. (Unless it's the name of your children or someone who has passed on and the tattoo is in honor of them. That's different.)

Back when I was in college, I can remember seriously considering having my sorority letters (Kappa Kappa Gamma) inked on my ankle. And yeah, it would've looked pretty cool -- for about four years. But now that I'm a 36-year-old mom, I'd hate to look down at my leg and see a permanent reminder of my drunken frat-party-goin' days staring back up at me. (Let's face it, I wasn't always this classy.)

And you know what other types of tattoos are as stupid as stupid gets? Sunflowers. Or fish. Or dolphins. Or peace signs. Or anything you think is remotely awesome when you're around the age of 18. I can't tell you how many friends I have who regret their very first tattoos -- because they're of things that really hold no significance at this point in their lives.

Hopefully for Becks, he and Victoria will live happily ever after and grow old together and all that good stuff. But if they don't? Well, I guess he could always try and disguise that tattoo with a huge soccer ball.

Well looky here. Seems that Justin Bieber has a little statement of his own to make after ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez revealed the status of their relationship yesterday. The Biebs, who's been tearing up the NYC nightlife scene the last few nights while his "Believe" tour makes a few stops in the area, took some time off hitting on attractive women to get inked Thursday night. His tattoo of choice? An intricate rose.

Whoa whoa whoa WHOA. You know what this means, right? Bieber's TOTALLY pining for Selena! Here, let's analyze. Remember the time that Justin showed up with a red rose to Selena's birthday party last week? And then he gets a ROSE TATTOO just a few days later? HELLO!

Yeah. I'm thinking Selena's very public relationship status update made him think twice about all these crazy antics of his. My guess? Justin's new tattoo is his weird way of telling Selena he wants her to be his for-ev-er.

It's a valiant attempt, bro. But let's be real here: Justin Bieber is just in no place to commit. Heck, he had a whole slew of women hanging out with him while he was getting inked. If that doesn't scream "RED FLAG!" I don't know what does.

Let's look at a few other facts for a second. They're both young. They're both ridiculously famous. Despite what Justin might want, neither of them can commit right now. Oh, and there's the small fact that both singers are constantly traveling around the country endlessly with thousands upon thousands of screaming fans tailing them. Yes, I believe in the power of love. However, as much as the "Boyfriend"-singing 19-year-old heartthrob may want Selena to be his and only his, now is not their time.

Sorry Bieber, but no amount of ink is gonna change that.
