Sabes que estás empezando a envejecer cuando sorprendes a ti mismo diciendo: "OMG! Eso es asqueroso!"por lo menos seis o siete veces durante los MTV Video Music Awards. Y mientras la mayoría de las cosas terribles que tuvo lugar durante las actuaciones del espectáculo--algunos de los malos momentos también me pasó en la alfombra roja .

Al parecer el 2013 VMAs no eran el lugar para vestirse para impresionar a este año, por eso hubo definitivamente más aciertos que fallos en el Departamento de moda. En realidad, encontrar unos parece que eran merecedores de algún tipo de reconocimiento positivo fue un poco de un desafío, pero de alguna manera me las arreglé.

Mira estas fotos para ver tres damas que parecía muy hermosa, y tres que quieran pensar en contratar a un nuevo estilista, inmediato.

Venice Beach Arrest Made in Fatal Boardwalk Horror (VIDEO)

A man appeared to intentionally drive into a very, very crowded Venice Beach late yesterday, killing one woman, 32, on her honeymoon from Italy, and injuring 11 others. What is so terrifying about this is that he seemed to have really thought about what he was about to do. This wasn't an old man losing control of his vehicle. This was a man that got into his car, which was parked alongside the boardwalk, and then plowed into people out enjoying the day. Witnesses said it seemed as if he was aiming for people ... trying to hit them.

The witness accounts really make you take pause. One 35-year-old woman, Louise Hodge, said:

There was people kind of stumbling around, blood dripping down their legs looking confused not knowing what had happened, people screaming. It was blocks and blocks of people just strewn across the sidewalk.

Thankfully, the police have made an arrest, and have Nathan Louis Campbell, 38, in custody. A $1 million bail has been set. Now we just wait for the inevitable insanity plea.

Ariel Castro Is Sentenced in Cleveland Kidnap Horror But Did He Get What He Deserved? (VIDEO)

Ariel Castro has pled guilty to a slew of charges that will have him never see freedom again. But he will remain alive. He appeared in court to plead guilty to 937 criminal counts of kidnapping, rape and aggravated murder. He will receive life in prison with no chance of parole -- plus an additional 1000 years which, unless he's a vampire, he won't serve, but it guarantees he will never get out. Castro kept three women, Amanda Berry, Georgina DeJesus, and Michelle Knight, captive for at least a decade in a house of horrors in Cleveland. Also inside the house was Amanda Berry's child with Castro, Jocelyn.

Castro seemed lucid and calm as he appeared in court. As the judge told him in no uncertain terms that he would never again see the outside of prison walls if he agreed to the deal, he said, "I'm fully aware and I do consent to the agreement." It appears that while Ariel did not value the life of the three women he held captive, he does indeed value his own, as now he will not be put to death. (Anyone surprised he is such a coward at heart?)

The deal also means there will be no trial, the women will not have to testify, and they won't have to relive every horror they'd been through.

A statement released by their law firm said that the women, "are satisfied by this resolution to the case, and are looking forward to having these legal proceedings draw to a final close in the near future."

There is no doubt that the women were consulted about the outcome. They obviously must have chosen life in prison for Castro over the possible death penalty in order that they could get on with their lives and not have to face this horrific man again. They already appear to be miraculously moving on.

Psychologists said that while for some victims testifying against their perpetrator can mean being given a sense of power and resolution, the trauma that these three women endured over such a long period of time would have been devastating and damaging to recount. Not to mention that millions would have been following the trial.

While many of us would have liked to have seen Castro fry, perhaps it is better that he have so many years ahead of him to contemplate his horrific actions and pay for his heinous crimes. It is, however, unfortunate that he will be fed three times a day and given shelter -- things that a lot of innocent people do not have.

Woman’s Headache Turns Out to Be Flesh-Eating Maggots in Horror Story of the Summer (VIDEO)

It's these kinds of stories that make me want to plan my next vacation ... at home. A 27-year-old woman from the U.K. went on the trip of a lifetime with her boyfriend to Peru, but on the plane trip home, she began experiencing headaches. Soon, she had shooting pains in her face and was hearing a "scratching" sound inside of her head. At first, doctors thought she had an ear infection. However, she was referred to a specialist to make certain. That's when they discovered the stuff that nightmares are made of. The woman, Rochelle Harris, didn't have just any old ear problem. She had ... maggots in her ear! And they'd set up shop deep within her ear canal. Shudder shudder shuuuuudder.

Rochelle had remembered walking through a swarm of flies while in Peru, but when one landed on her ear, she simply waved it off and thought no more about it.

Until the headaches. And the shooting pains.

And the scratching noises. Yiiiiiiikes.

Luckily, the specialist was able to locate the maggots and eventually determine that the eight of them, big old suckers, had hatched inside of her ear drum, and drilled a hole into her ear canal.

If the critters reached her brain, they could cause meningitis, or internal bleeding, or even facial paralysis. Oh my god, my head is a little scratchy right now. Dandruff? MAGGOTS?!

Docs tried flushing the creatures out with olive oil and then left Rochelle with her new pals for the evening. She said:

It was longest few hours of my life. I just wanted them out of me and now I knew what was causing the sensations and sounds, it made it all the worse.

The next day, Rochelle was sedated and the maggots removed. It was also determined that, thankfully, they had not yet reached her brain. WHEW.

This isn't the first time I've heard about this type of thing. One woman I read about had worms that had burrowed into her brain -- but doctors kept thinking her complaints of feeling itching inside her skull was a psychological problem. Finally, one doc believed her yammering that something was in her brain and discovered the worms just under her skull.

Just goes to show, if there is something off with your brain, don't let so-called experts tell you there's nothing wrong. Keep going until you find a doctor who will examine you thoroughly.

This is so skeevy I don't know if I'm ever leaving the house again.

Joshua Hoffine hace algunas fotos maldito miedos! Son absolutamente magníficos pero le dará la creepies vertical al mismo tiempo. Lo que los hace tan fantásticamente miedo es que combina cuentos de infancia con las cosas más espantoso de películas de terror y que utiliza niños reales para hacerlo. De hecho, las fotos son tan raras que él ha conseguido cargas de correo odioso y gente que dice que fue "abuso" a los niños--que resultan ser sus hijas (y a veces sus sobrinas y sobrinos).

Joshua, cuyos modelos son sus hijas Arinna, Shiva, Chloe y Sadie, que comenzó el modelado para él cuando eran niños pequeños, dice que los niños amor vestir hasta hacer sus fotos --si es que va acompañados por un lobo que ataca, payaso asustadizo o cuerpo momificado. "Los niños les encanta ser parte de mis proyectos. Para ellos es como un gran juego de vestir. Que nunca tienen miedo, porque son conscientes del artífice de todo. Se sienten seguras conmigo. Bueno, si usted puede leer a su hijo Caperucita Roja, ¿por qué no poner en una foto donde ella es ser comida por un lobo? Al menos entonces conoce que Daddy sólo está jugando. ¿Qué mejor manera de enseñar a los niños que todos sus miedos no son necesariamente reales?

Estas fotos no pueden ser para todos, pero sin duda te pueden todos hablando!
