Brandi Glanville and LeAnn Rimes Show They're Perfectly Capable of Getting Along

Sometimes I wonder about Brandi Glanville and LeAnn Rimes. They seem to be awfully good at garnering publicity via publicly feuding with one another. Is it all just an act? I mean, obviously the girls aren't besties for a very specific reason, but ... how do you explain this photo of Brandi and Eddie horsing around with their two kids on a soccer field, while LeAnn leisurely sits on the sidelines, bemused, as if enjoying Shakespeare in the Park? Are the women lying about their disdain for one another? Or is LeAnn really seething inside like Lady Macbeth?

Here's what I think: It's the Internet's fault. Brandi has very good reasons to not like the woman her husband ran off with, but she's obviously capable of acting civilized around her, and vice versa. (Brandi and LeAnn have been to soccer games together before!) In fact, if I just saw photos of Brandi, Eddie, and LeAnn's day out, and didn't know the back-story, I'd think LeAnn and Brandi were buddies. Things get ugly when the two women start tweeting things about or to one another. They both hide behind their smartphones and don't have to deal or see each other. Bad times.

Then again, like I said, their ongoing war could all be for publicity's sake. Both Brandi and LeAnn have spent the past two years in the headlines, thanks to their acrimonious relationship. I mean, think about it: If it weren't for their feud, would we really care about either one all that much?

Who knows? I guess this'll just have to remain one of life's great mysteries. But hey, it's nice to know that Eddie, Brandi, and LeAnn are at least all mature enough to get along in front of the kids. A shred of maturity goes a long way!
