Ahora puede haber oído de la "viuda de blanco," un fugitivo británico y madre de cuatro de los que se sospecha como uno de los cerebros detrás de la terrible masacre de Westgate Mall en Nairobi. Al menos 39 personas han muerto y más de 300 heridos. 'Princesses: Long Island' Ashlee White Recovering From a Stroke

During the season finale of Princesses: Long Island, Ashlee White revealed that she had suffered a stroke the previous year, but the show didn't seem to convey the seriousness of her ailments. Because that tiny bit of information was just casually slapped onto the last 10 minutes of the finale, it was pretty difficult to take Ashlee seriously. In fact, it almost seemed like it was a ploy for Ashlee to get some sympathy from the other women and the audience.

Well, guess what? It was definitely not a ploy. Last week, Ashlee reportedly suffered her third stroke in only two years and is currently in recovery mode. According to a tweet from Casey Cohen last Tuesday, the same day she was hospitalized, Ashlee was already "in recovery, alert & re-learning to walk." Wow.

I can't even imagine what the White family must be going through. The repercussions of three strokes are too much for any family to experience. 

The good news is that it seems as if the other princesses have let go of any feuds they may have had with Ashlee and are rallying up behind her to help her get through this difficult time. The finale was pretty explosive, and we were left with a group of girls that were ripping at the seams, but it looks like this incident has brought them all together. Chanel had kind words to say about the whole incident:

Friendships aren't perfect, so despite any issues in the past year, my main priority is for her to get well and happy and be the best person she can be.

Even Joey, who was ready to end her friendship with Ashlee forever by the end of the season, admitted that it's "important to let go of the issues at a time like this." She better believe it's time to put all cat-fights aside. When a friend, whether she's a good one or not, is suffering, all arguments should be put to rest. At the end of the day, Ashlee's health is more important than any feud.

'Breaking Bad' Honest Trailer Breaks Down Our Addiction to Walter White (VIDEO)

Have you seen the deeply awesome "Honest Trailer" clips from the folks at Screen Junkies? They're a series of parody videos that include snarky yet oh-so-true commentary about various popular films. For instance, the Honest Trailer for Hunger Games, which, among other things, hilariously questioned how Peeta used his cake-decorating skills to magically camouflage himself into, what, a forest rock? ("Seriously? That is f*cking ridiculous.")

While the YouTube humor series is typically focused on movies, the latest Honest Trailer takes on Breaking Bad -- and it's every bit as fantastic as you'd expect. It's also chock-full of spoilers from past seasons, so skip the rest of this post if you haven't caught up! Otherwise, enjoy the video magic of an amazing show being skewered with perfect, loving accuracy.

I know it's a cliché to talk about spraying the monitor with laughter-delivered beverage, but I seriously -- and ironically -- half-choked on my iced tea when I got to the part about Walt's cancer being the kind that makes him cough a lot. (Not that cancer is funny! It's just … that line is funny, okay?)

The occasional moments of slow exposition! The eternal breakfast scenes! Hank's terrible jokes! All the Latino villains! The fact that white people drone on and on about Breaking Bad even more than The Wire! Oh, it's all true, and this trailer does a truly great job of good-naturedly poking fun -- while still acknowledging how relentlessly fantastic the show is.

The All-White Manicure Is White Hot (And Easy to Do Yourself!)

The all-white manicure is one of those fresh and sexy trends that's totally DIY-able. A ton of the spring/summer runways featured models sporting all-white, and even Kim Kardashian showed off her short white mani a while ago, so this week I figured what the heck?! I tried it myself, and I'm quite happy with the results! I did find it a little trickier to work with than colored polish, but overall, it's really just two coats, a top coat, and voila!

Kim captioned this "Short nails are everything" -- and I do think they look great like this. I left mine a little longer, mostly because I'm lazy and didn't feel like trimming and filing them! But I like my results too!

For my at-home mani, I used Dolce & Gabbana Intense Nail Lacquer in "true white" ... which is actually SLIGHTLY off-white. It's like almost a creamy white, but not quite. ($25 at SaksFifthAvenue.com) I just happened to have this laying around, but some other great options would be Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in "White On" for a real bright, quick-drying white ($2.49 at Target) or OPI "Cream of Capri" for a similar look to mine. ($6.99 at BeautyEncounter.com)

I also used Essie "No Chips Ahead" top coat, which really helped smooth out the whole look (and of course it makes the mani last longer). ($7.79 at Target)

Now, I must say that I found the white polish a little more challenging than usual, and I've read this same thing from other beauty bloggers. I think it's because it has to be pretty thick for the white to be opaque, and because it's so white, mistakes show up easily. My first coat looked pretty bad, but once I realllllly carefully went over it with a second coat, it looked a million times better. So my advice is -- don't panic if your first pass looks like crap! Have some nail polish remover and a Q-tip handy and it will be fine.

I do think this manicure would also look great with a little bling, like a sparkly top coat on just the ring finger nails (or all of them), but for now, I'm kind of loving the fresh whiteness of it.
