Bethenny Frankel Gets Ripped to Shreds by a 'RHONY' Star

I can't believe it. After, what has it been, four years? Kelly Bensimon and Bethenny Frankel are still feuding. Well, kind of. Kelly recently unleashed on Frankel to Us Weekly after Bethenny made a snide comment about her during a Watch What Happens Live appearance. Apparently, during the show, Andy Cohen asked Bethenny which Real Housewives star she would never invite onto her new talk show, and she replied, "Danielle Staub." But after naming the former RHONJ member, Frankel went on and joked, "[Staub] can come over to my house and meet Kelly and Jason [Hoppy] and live with us."

Kind of out of left field, so I could see how Kelly would be annoyed. But then Bethenny went on to say that she would have Kelly on her show.

Sooooo ... that's kind of nice? Right? Yeah, Kelly didn't think so.

Bensimon told the mag: "We've done so much underneath this incredible cloud. She has literally tried to destroy every single thing I've done and I've never done anything to her," she added. "I don't even know her. I am tired of her attacking my reputation and defaming me whenever she can." She continued: "It's time to move on. I'm going to have to take action. I can't be hired to work and then have people four years later attacking me for no reason. This is NOT a joke anymore."

While I can see why Kelly would be annoyed at Bethenny for her out-of-the-blue comment on WWHL, I don't know if I'd go as far as to say this is Bethenny trying to destroy her. Kelly might be making a mountain out of a molehill here.

What I think really needs to happen is Kelly should take Bethenny up on her opportunity to appear on her show. They can hash things out there. How epic would that be? I, as a diehard Housewives fan, would watch the shit out of that episode.

So, what do you say, Kelly? A quick appearance on Bethenny? You can get everything off your chest, and Bethenny hers. It's the stuff RHONY dreams are made of. And how can you deny us that? It's your publicly duty, actually.

Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy Show How They Really Feel About Each Other in Court

I'm sorry to report, Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy relations appear to be at an all-time low. It's a bit chilly between these two battling parents. How chilly? Glaciers impervious to global warming chilly. Avoiding eye contact chilly. Yeah, it's that bad. According to a witness, when Jason and Bethenny met in court the other day they couldn't even bring themselves to look each other in the eyes.

The witness says,

They completely avoided eye contact and communication despite being within three feet of each other. As Bethenny made her way past Jason, he put his head down and busied himself on his phone. He couldn't bring himself to look at her.

When they were finally dismissed after an hour and a painful half they both got out in a hurry -- especially Bethenny, the source says.

Ooh, avoiding eye contact. That is one of the biggest signs of repressed contempt there is. That's what you do when you know just looking at someone is going to set off a nuclear warhead. I'm so sorry it's still this bad. It's been a year and things are still so tense between these two. Poor Bryn! Jason and Bethenny are supposed to be co-parenting. They were supposed to stay friends.

Is there just too much money at stake for Bethenny and Jason to reach harmony?

I don't know what it's going to take to get these two to stop hating each other. Maybe the damage is permanent. I can see how it could take several months for a divorcing couple with children to heal their wounds and move forward. But this? Time does not seem to be healing anything at all. 

And if time isn't changing anything, I don't know what else could. Maybe when Bryn is a little older she'll be able to say something that will melt her parents hearts. But until then, it looks like Bethenny and Jason are permanently frozen in frostville.

Do you think Jason and Bethenny will ever reconcile enough to at least be civil with each other?

Bethenny Frankel Really Shouldn't Be Judging Teresa Giudice Right Now

Teresa and Joe Giudice are currently going through a difficult time defending themselves against fraud charges, but it seems like Bethenny Frankel couldn't care less if they end up in jail or not.

According to Us Weekly, Bethenny doesn't feel badly for Teresa at all because she did it to herself (with the help of her charming husband). Bethenny says, "... people who love to be in the spotlight often have a lot of skeletons in their closet." True. That. Bethenny is well aware of all of the things that come out when you're on a popular reality TV show, like all her own personal stories of a messed up childhood, past relationships, and inside her current divorce from husband Jason Hoppy.

However, Bethenny went on to say, "I feel badly for them because they have kids, and their kids didn't sign up for this."

Wait a second, Bethenny. Are you saying that your 3-year-old daughter Bryn signed up to have to be a part of your very public divorce from your husband? I don't think so. Bethenny knows better than anyone what kind of strain can be put on a family when it's in the public eye, and I don't think it's right for her to judge Teresa for what she's putting her daughters through when she's basically putting Bryn publicly through something that's also very painful.

In this day and age, a public (and celebrity filled) divorce can turn just as nasty as a trial, and both can negatively affect children. It's hard enough for a young child to go through her parents' divorce, but it's a whole other thing to have it appear in the media. The same goes for Teresa's four daughters Gia, Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana (who's the same age as Bryn), who are also going through a traumatic, and very public, experience.

It's no surprise that Bethenny has something to say about this whole Teresa fiasco, but she should probably learn to hold her tongue when it comes to other Housewives' children, especially since she's just as guilty of putting her daughter in the spotlight.
